Improvement hopper pengisian pasir pada mesin vibrate untuk pengisian pasir pada pipe exhaust dibuat sebagai sarana pembelajaran dalam menyampaikan ide.Pembuatan alat ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki sistem produksi pengisian pasir kedalam exhaustpipe dari manual menjadi otomatis, karena dalam bidang perindustrian sekarang ini diperlukan suatu peralatan yang dapat bekerja secara otomatis untuk mempersingkat waktu proses produksi. Proses vibrate dan pengisian pasir kedalam exhaust pipe sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual yaitu dengan cara menuangkan pasir kedalam exhaustpipe dengan menggunakan cangkir gelas hingga exhaust pipe terisi penuh. Setelah dilakukan improvement dengan menggunakan hopper pengisian pasir otomatis pengisian pasir kedalam exhaust pipe dapat dilakukan secara otomatis dengan menggunakan sistem pneumatic sebagai komponen utamanya. Alat ini dapat mempercepat cycle time proses produksi pengisian pasir ke dalam exhaust pipe dengan cycle time 50 detik dapat menghasilkan 3 exhaust pipe sekaligus dan memudahkan operator untuk mengoperasikan mesin vibrate pengisi pasir kedalam exhaust pipe.

ABSTRACT Improvement hopper filling sand on vibrating machine on exhaust pipe is made as a learning toolin the conveying of the idea of making this tool which has a purpose to improve the production system of filling sand into the exhaust pipe from manual to automati, because in industrial sector neededa piece of equipment that can work automatically to shorten the production process. Vibrate and sand filling process into the exhaust pipe previously done manually by pouring sand into the exhaust pipe using glass cups to fully exhaust pipe. After on the improvement by using the sand filling hooper automatic filling sand into the exhaust pipe can be done automatically by using a pneumatic system as its main component. This tool can speed up the production process cycle time filling sand into the exhaust pipe with a cycle time of 50 seconds to yield 3 exhaust pipe at the same time and allows an operator to operate the machine vibrate sand into the filler exhaust pipe.
