PERBANDINGAN WAKTU DAN BIAYA PELEBURAN ALUMINIUM DENGAN DAPUR LEBUR GAS LPG DAN DAPUR LISTRIK

Dalam pengoperasian dapur lebur dengan bahan bakar minyak tanah banyak sekali energi panas yang terbuang, eifisien pembakaran yang kurang dan keselamatan kerja yang kurang terjamin disamping kualitas logam peleburan yang kurang sempurna serta dimana harga minyak tanah yang semakin mahal dan sulit didapat. Pembuatan dapur tabung meliputi proses pemotongan plat, pengerolan, melubangi dan pengelasan plat. Pembuatan dinding dapur lebur meliputi proses mencampur semen tahan api dengan air dan pemasangan bonggol pisang. Pembuatan kowi meliputi proses pemotongan pipa, plat tutup, pengelasannya dan pengelasan kupingan kowi. Pembuatan tutup meliputi proses penggambaran pola pemotongan plat. Hasil analisa dibutuhkan sebanyak 1,78 kWh untuk melebur 1 kg aluminium pada dapur listrik dengan biaya Rp 1589,54 untuk rumah berdaya 2200 VA. Dibutuhkan sebanyak 0,81 kg gas LPG untuk melebur 1 kg aluminium dengan waktu 29 dan biaya Rp 4050. Dibutuhkan sebanyak 1,175 kg gas LPG untuk melebur 2 kg aluminium dengan waktu 38 menit ddan biaya sebesar Rp 5875.

The furnace with kerosene fuel have many heat energy lost in melt aluminium process, low efficient of melting material. This is not safety which price of kerosene is expensive and difficult to find it. Furnace tube was made by cutting plat process, rolling, maked a hole and welding the metal sheet. Furnace wall was made by mix the refractories castable cement and water, put the knot on banana tree. The kowi was make by cutting pipe process, cutting the sheet metal cover, handle and welding this all. Cover of furnace was made by desaign the pattern on the sheet metal and cutting it. The results of analisis, induction furnace are needed 1,78 kWh for melting 1 kg aluminium and the cost is Rp 1589,54 for 2200 VA house capacity. The volume of gas LPG 0,81 kg are needed to melt 1 kg aluminium takes 29 minutes and the cost is Rp 4050. The volume of gas LPG 1,175 kg are needed to melt 2 kg aluminium takes 38 minutes and the cost as many as Rp 5875.
