PERANCANGAN POSITIONER BELT CONVEYOR

Saat proses crhusing dan loading dalam keadaan cuaca hujan terjadi mis tracking pada belt conveyor. Agar tidak terjadi mis tracking pada belt conveyor, dibutuhkan alat yang bisa menahan belt agar tidak terjadi mis tracking lagi.Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah merancang sebuah alat yang dapat menahan belt conveyor sehingga conveyor bisa beroperasi pada saat cuaca hujan. Metode yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini ada beberapa macam. Pertama melakukan observasi tentang proses crushing dan loading. Kedua merancang alat. Ketiga menghitung hasil rancangan. Keempat mendesain ulang hasil rancangan. Dalam proses perancangan, ukuran komponen dapat ditentukan dengan mengetahui terlebih dahulu spesifikasi dari material, sehingga dihasilkan desain atau rancangan yang optimal. Dari perhitungan life time / umur nominal bearing menjadi sangat lama, ini dikarenakan beban radial yang terjadi kecil dan umur nominalnya selama 8.763x10 h”.Dengan diadakan Posisioner ini diharapkan tidak terjadi lagi mis tracking, sehingga conveyor bisa beroprasi secara optimal. Jadwal penggilingan/crushing dan pengapalan/loading tidak terhambat karena cuaca.

When the process of crushing and loading in rainy weather conditions often occur miss tracking on the belt conveyor. To avoid miss tracking on the belt conveyor, its need tools which can withstand belt tracking to avoid miss tracking again. The purpose of this thesis is to design a device which can withstand the belt conveyor so that the conveyor can operate when the weather is rainy. The methods that used in this thesis there are several kinds. First do a observations about the process of crushing and loading, second make design tool. Third calculate the design. Fourth redesign draft results. In the design process, the size of the components can be determined by knowing the specifications of the material at first, so we get the design or optimal design. On calculation the lifetime of bearing become to be very long time, this because the radial load which happens is small and age of nominal is 8.763x10 h\". With held Positioner is expected to occur no longer miss tracking, so that the conveyor can operate optimally
