Perkembangan teknologi selalu diimbangi dengan upaya untuk mendapatkan efisiensi. Termasuk dalam inovasi dan modifikasi dari Gas Anchor, semua Gas Anchor memiliki prinsip kerja yang sama. Fungsinya adalah untuk memisahkan gas dari cairan, diharapkan gas akan menuju Casing Annulus dan tidak akan dihisap oleh pompa. Persiapan pengujian dilakukan pada penentuan jenis material dan membuat modifikasi sesuai dengan ukuran Gas Anchor yang ada. Hasil proses modifikasi Gas Anchor memiliki fungsi yang sama tetapi dapat menghemat biaya hingga 62%. Proses modifikasi tidak rumit dan membutuhkan waktu yang singkat dalam modifikasi.

Technological developments is always balanced with efforts to get efficiency. Included in the innovation and modification of Gas Anchor, all of Gas Anchor have the same working principle. Its function is to separate the gas from the fluid, there fore the gas flow to the Casing Annulus and does not need to be sucked by the pump. Preparation for testing is conducted on the determination of the type of material and making modifications fit in Gas Anchor’s size. Modification process producess Gas Anchor that has the same function but can save the costs up to 62%. The modification process is not complicated and required a short time in the modification.
