HUBUNGAN ANTARA POLA MAKAN DAN PERILAKU MAKAN DENGAN STATUS GIZI MAHASISWA S1 FAKULTAS NON KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA

Latar belakang: Kehidupan sosial mahasiswa sangat mempengaruhi perilaku hidup sehatnya khususnya pola makan sehari-hari. Sebanyak 33,3% mahasiswa UGM memiliki status gizi yang tidak normal. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola makan dan perilaku makan dengan status gizi mahasiswa S1 Fakultas Non Kesehatan Universitas Gadjah Mada. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Analisis penelitian dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman-Rank. Populasi penelitian ialah mahasiswa S1 Fakultas Non Kesehatan Universitas Gadjah Mada. Pengambilan sampel dengan purposive random sampling. Alat ukur menggunakan Food Frequency Semi Kuantitatif, Eating Behavior Patterns Questionnaire, pengukuran tinggi badan dan berat badan secara antropometri untuk menghitung status gizi. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil analisis korelasi Spearman-Rank tidak terdapat hubungan antara perilaku makan dan status gizi subjek (p=0,083). Ada hubungan antara frekuensi asupan lauk hewani (p=0,000), lauk nabati (p=0,007), buah (p=0,003), makanan jadi (p=0,011), dan frekuensi asupan konfeksioneri (p=0,000) dengan status gizi. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara pola makan frekuensi asupan lauk hewani, frekuensi asupan lauk nabati, frekuensi asupan makanan jadi, frekuensi asupan buah, dan frekuensi asupan konfeksioneri dengan status gizi mahasiswa S1 Fakultas Non Kesehatan Universitas Gadjah Mada. Tidak ada hubungan perilaku makan dengan status gizi mahasiswa S1 Fakultas Non Kesehatan Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Background: Social life influenced college student particularly eating pattern everyday. A total of 33,3% of UGM students had not normal nutritional status. Objective: To identify association between eating pattern and eating behavior related nutritional status on student of non health faculty of Gadjah Mada University. Method: The study was analytic observational with cross sectional design. Subject of the study were the student from three non health faculty students of Gadjah Mada University as many as 90 students. Data collected are analyzed using Spearman Rank correlation . Result: There was significant association between eating pattern from frequency of intake of animal side (p = 0.000), vegetable dishes (p = 0.007), fruit (p = 0.003), fast foods frequency intake (p = 0.011), and frequency of intake confectionery (p = 0.000) and nutritional status. There was insignificant association between eating behavior (p=0,083) related nutritional status. Conclusion: There was significant association between eating pattern from frequency of intake of animal side, vegetable dishes, fruit frequency intake, fast food related nutritional status on student of non health faculty of Gadjah Mada University. There was insignificant association between eating behavior (p=0,184) related nutritional status on student of non health faculty of Gadjah Mada University.
