TOKYO TOWER : SEJARAH, ARSITEKTUR, DAN FUNGSI

Tugas akhir ini berjudul Tokyo Tower (sejarah, arsitektur, dan fungsi). Alasan penulis memilih judul ini karena penulis tertarik dengan sejarah dibangunnya Tokyo Tower, arsitektur yang digunakan, juga fungsi Tokyo Tower dalam segi pariwisata dan komunikasi. Tokyo Tower dibangun karena adanya kebutuhan membangun menara pemancar yang mampu menjangkau seluruh wilayah untuk sejumlah stasiun televisi di Tokyo. Arsitektur Tokyo Tower terinspirasi dari arsitektur Barat yaitu Menara Eiffel di Paris. Penulis menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yang berupa kepustakaan dan metode penulisan (deskriptif kualitatif) yang menjelaskan mengenai suatu pokok bahasan yang diangkat, berdasarkan beberapa referensi dan informasi yang diperoleh penulis melalui buku-buku, jurnal, artikel, dan tulisan di internet.

This graduation paper entitled Tokyo Tower (history, architecture, and function). The writer’s reason in choosing this tittle is because the writer is interest with the history of the Tokyo Tower, the architecture that used, and the function of Tokyo in tourism and communication. Tokyo Tower is built because there is need to built transmitter tower that is able to reach all television stations in Tokyo. Tokyo architecture is inspired from western architecture namely Eiffel Tower in Paris. The writer uses literature data collecting technique and descriptive qualitative method in writing that explains about a subject being discussed based on some references and information that are obtained through books, journals, articels, and internet.
