Adjuster Cylinder adalah komponen utama pada alat berat. Cushion Piston adalah salah satu bagian dari Adjuster Cylinder yang mempunyai fungsi mengirim oli hidrolik dari Cushion Silinder menuju ke sistem. Jika Cushion Piston tidak bekerja sesuai standart, maka akan terjadi banyak masalah dan terjadi kerusakan pada Adjuster Silinder. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengumpulkan data dari berbagai literatur, observasi kerusakan Cushion Piston, pengalaman mekanik dan foremen, semua itu dapat membantu dalam investigasi masalah. Banyak masalah yang terjadi pada Cushion Piston yang dikarenakan kerusakan pada Cushion Piston, khususnya pada titik kritis. Permasalahan dan kerusakan dapat dikurangi dengan perawatan pada Cushion Piston seperti pembersihan sebelum perakitan, dan yang lebih penting menjaga kebersihan dari oli hidrolik dan semua alat-alat bantuan. Dan juga, tempat kerja harus bersih.

Adjuster Cylinder is the main component of heavy equipment. Cushion Piston is one of the Adjuster Cylinder inner parts which has functioned as deliver hydraulic oil from cushion cylinder to system. If Cushion Piston doesn’t work properly, there will many problems rise and damaged will occur on the Adjuster Cylinder. The study method are the collecting data from many literatures, the observation of Cushion Piston damages, the experienced mechanics and foreman. It could help investigate the problems. There are many operasional problems of Cushion Piston which causes many damages on Cushion Piston, especially on its critical points. The problems and damages could be minimalized by apply proper maintenance of Cushion Piston like cleaning before reassembling it, and it’s important to keep cleans the hydraulic oil, cylinder block and all the support tools. The work area should be clean also.
