Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara status sosialekonomi dan persepsi tenaga kerja terhadap pekerjaan dengan intensi atau niat tenaga kerja untuk menjadi peserta program asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero). Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pengisian Daftar Isian Effendi 1981 untuk mengetahui status sosialekonomi tenaga kerja dan pengsian kuesioner Persepsi Tenaga Kerja terhadap Pekerjaan serta kuesioner Intensi Pro Asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada keseluruhan tenaga kerja ternyata status sosial-ekonomi berkorelasi negatif dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) tetapi korelasinya tidak signifikan (F -0,095; p= 0,183). Persepsi tenaga kerja terhadap pekerjaan pada keseluruhan tenaga kerja ternyata sangat signifikan berkorelasi positif dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) (F 0,229; p= 0,002). Secara bersama-sama, status sosialekonomi dan persepsi terhadap pekerjaan pada keseluruhan tenaga kerja sangat signifikan berkorelasi dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) (R=0,244; p=O,002). Status sosial-ekonomi tenaga kerja yang telah menjadi peserta asuransi signifikan berkorelasi negatif dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) (F -0,237; p= 0,024). Persepsi tenaga kerja peserta asuransi terhadap pekerjaan berkorelasi positif dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) tetapi korelasinya tidak signifikan (F 0,121; p= 0,257). Secara bersama-sama, status sosial-ekonomi dan persepsi terhadap pekerjaan dari para tenaga kerja yang telah menjadi peserta asuransi berkorelasi dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) tetapi korelasinya tidak signifikan (R=0,259; p=O,676). Status sosial-ekonomi tenaga kerja yang belum menjadi peserta asuransi berkorelasi negatif dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) tetapi korelasinya tidak signifikan (I=-0 ,110; p= 0,259). Persepsi tenaga kerja yang belum menjadi peserta asuransi terhadap pekerjaan signifikan berkorelasi positif dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) (F 0,2 13; p= 0,026). Secara bersama-sama, status sosial-ekonomi dan persepsi terhadap pekerjaan dari para tenaga kerja yang belum menjadi peserta asuransi signifikan berkorelasi dengan intensi pro asuransi PT. JAMSOSTEK (Persero) (R=0,239; ~ 4 , 0 2 7 ) .

The purpose of the research is find the correlation betwen socialeconomic of the labours and their perception to the job with the intention to participate in the PT.
