Video Telepresence merupakan teknologi komunikasi yang menyampaikan informasi secara audio-visual. Informasi yang di sampaikan berupa suara dan gambar yang dapat digunakan untuk berhubungan dengan mudah serta dapat dilakukan dengan jarak jauh. Proses pembangunan Sistem video telepresence ini dengan berbasis web dan membutuhkan komponen pendukung berupa webcam, speaker, mikropon dan juga perangkat lunak berupa sistem operasi, webserver, program database, bahasa pemrograman yang harus di install. Kemudian proses instalasi software BigBlueButton sebagai contoh software setelah semua software pendukung sudah di install. Proses instalasi masing-masing perangkat dan juga termasuk bigbluebutton sendiri di gunakan untuk melakukan suatu conference dengan menggunakan video telepresence bigbluebutton berbasis web.

Video teleconferencing is a communications technology that delivers audiovisual information. Convey information in the form of sounds and images that can be used to relate easily and can be done remotely. The process of development of this video telepresencing system with Webbased and require supporting components in the form of a web cam, speakers, microphone and software as the basis of the development system. It is operating system, webserver, database software, programming languages. BigblueButton instalation process is done after software after all of the support sofware already installed. Every each of software instalation process include bigbluebutton, it’s use to do a telepresencing with bigbluebutton software.
