Keterbatasan waktu dalam kegiatan proyek, mengharuskan dari pihak kontraktor untuk merencanakan jadwal pekerjaan pada proyek dengan teliti, terutama untuk jadwal pekerjaan bekisting. Karena kalau sampai pekerjaan bekisting terlambat, akan dipastikan pekerjaan yang lainnya akan tersendat, seperti pekerjaan pembesian dan menerus ke pekerjaan pengecoran. Melalui berbagai metode yang pernah digunakan akhirnya diambil metode kerja bekisting semi system. Metode kerja bekisting semi system dirasa sangat efisien dalam segi waktu dan hasil produktivitas pekerjaannya. Dari cara pelaksanaannya, bekisting dengan metode bekisting semi system terbilang mudah untuk cara pemasangan maupun pembongkaran, karena di bantu dengan alat tower crane.
