DAYA HAMBAT ANTIBIOTIKA TERHADAP BAKTERI DARI SUSU KAMBING PERANAKAN ETTAWAH (PE) : NORMAL, MASTITIS SUBKLINIS DAN KLINIS

Susu kambing diketahui berkhasiat bagi tubuh, khususnya bagi kebutuhan gizi dan kesehatan karena kandungan protein, lemak, karbohidrat, vitamin dan mineral yang seimbang. Kejadian mastitis terutama mastitis subklinis menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas dan kuantitas susu kambing. Beberapa bakteri pada susu kambing PE adalah Escherichia coli, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus agalactiae, dan Staphylococcus aureus. Pengobatan yang dilakukan pada kasus mastitis di lapangan berupa pemberian antibiotika secara langsung ke ambing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya hambat antibiotika eritromisin, penisilin, streptomisin, gentamisin dan kloramfenikol terhadap bakteri di dalam susu kambing PE dari Peternakan Sahabat Alam Sejati di Kalasan, Sleman yang meliputi susu normal, mastitis subklinis dan mastitis klinis. Enam sampel yang mewakili status susu normal, mastitis subklinis +1, +2, +3, dan +4 serta mastitis klinis diuji sensitivitasnya terhadap antibiotika dengan Disc-Diffusion metode Kirby-Bauer. Susu dikultur dengan swab steril ke media Mueller-Hinton Agar (MHA) secara merata kemudian diletakkan disc antibiotika yang terdiri dari eritromisin, penisilin, streptomisin, gentamisin dan kloramfenikol. Media MHA diinkubasikan dengan suhu 37 Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bakteri pada susu kambing Peranakan Ettawah sensitif terhadap gentamisin (100%), kloramfenikol (83,33%), streptomisin (83,33%), eritromisin (66,67%) dan penisilin (50%). Daya hambat antibiotika terhadap bakteri pada susu berdasarkan status susunya yaitu pada susu mastitis subklinis +3, +4 dan mastitis klinis sebesar 100%, mastitis subklinis +1 sebesar 80%, susu normal sebesar 40% dan mastitis subklinis +2 sebesar 20%.0C selama 24 jam. Hasil pengukuran zona inhibisi yang terbentuk dibandingkan dengan tabel standar Kirby-Bauer.
The result showed that bacteria Goat Farm is one of the animal husbandry industries which are currently growing rapidly. Goat milk is known efficacious for the body especially for nutritional and health because the content of protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals are balanced. The mastitis phenomenon, especially subclinical mastitis, becomes one of the factors which affect the quantity and quality of the goat milk. Some bacteria in goat milk is Escherichia coli, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus agalactiae, and Staphylococcus aureus. The treatment which is done in the mastitis case in the field by granting of antibiotics directly into the udder’s goat. This study aimed to finding out the antibiotic inhibition of erythromycin, penicillin, streptomycin, gentamicin and chloramphenicol against bacteria in the milk of Ettawah cross breed goats from Sahabat Alam Sejati Farm in Kalasan, Sleman, which consist of normal milk, subclinical mastitis and clinical mastitis. Six samples that represent the status of normal milk, subclinical mastitis of +1, +2, +3, +4 and clinical mastitis was tested against antibiotic by using Disc- Diffusion, Kirby-Bauer method. The milk cultured evenly into Mueller-Hinton Agar (MHA) by using sterile swab, and then was put into antibiotic disc consisting of erythromycin, penicillin, streptomycin, gentamicin and chloramphenicol. The media MHA was incubated in temperature of 370C for 24 hours. The results of the inhibition zones measurement were compared to Kirby- Bauer standard table. in the milk of Ettawah cross breed goat were sensitive to gentamicin (100%), chloramphenicol (83,33%), streptomycin (83,33%), erythromycin (66,67%) and penicillin (50%). Inhibition of antibiotic against bacteria in the milk based on the status, the subclinical mastitis +3, +4 and clinical mastitis has 100%, 80% of subclinical mastitis +1, the normal milk has 40%, and 20% of subclinical mastitis +2.
