STRATEGI BERTAHAN DALAM 5 SERI KOMIK TINTIN KARYA HERGÉ

Komik serial petualangan Tintin yang berjudul Tintin en Amérique, Les Cigares du Pharaon, Le Lotus Bleu, Le Secret de la Licorne, dan Vol 714 Pour Sidney, yang ditulis oleh Hergé pada tahun 1929, menjadi objek material dalam skripsi ini. Seluruh cerita dalam komik Tintin berkisah tentang petualangan seorang anak muda dalam memecahkan masalah Internasional melalui tokoh utama Tintin. Arogansi kekuasaan dan ancaman bahaya harus dilawan melalui berbagai upaya. Oleh karena itu, penulis mengungkapkan bentuk-bentuk perjuangan melawan arogansi kekuasaan dan ancaman bahaya yang terdapat dalam cerita. Penulis menggunakan konsep strategi dan taktik yang di tulis oleh Michel de Certeau untuk menjelaskan usaha yang ditempuh dalam mempertahankan hidupnya. Penelitian berawal dari penjabaran bentuk-bentuk strategi yang menjadi dasar usaha perjuangannya untuk melawan kekuasaan dan ancaman bahaya dalam memecahkan masalah Internasional. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, penulis juga menemukan bentuk taktik bertahan sebagai pendukung strategi dalam mempertahankan diri yaitu melalui taktik modifikasi pelaku, taktik penyelamatan, taktik simbolik, dan taktik serangan. Bentuk taktik tersebut menjadi solusi untuk meraih kebahagiaan.

A comic serial of Tintin entitled Tintin en Amérique, Les Cigares du Pharaon, Le Lotus Bleu, Le Secret de la Licorne, dan Vol 714 Pour Sidney, that was written by Hergé in 1929, becomes the object of the material in this thesis. The whole of the story in Tintin the comic tells the readers about an adventure story of a young man in solving international problem through its main character, Tintin. Arrogance of power and threat had to be coped through several ways. Therefore, the writer expresses the character’s struggle to fight arrogance of power and threat that exists in the story. The writer used strategy and tactic concept written by Michel de Certeau to explain the effort that had been done to survive. The research was started from the explanation of strategy forms that become the fundamental basis of his struggle to fight arrogance of power and threat in solving international problem. Based on the research done, the writer also found several forms of tactic to keep survive as the supporting strategy in defending himself i.e. doer’s modofication tactic, redemption tactic, symbolic tactic, and raid tactic. The forms of those tactic become the solution to achive the character’s happiness.
