GAMBARAN TOTAL DAN DIFERENSIAL LEUKOSIT AYAM BROILER YANG DIBERI AGRIMINOVIT®

Agriminovit® adalah multivitamin yang berisi kombinasi berbagai vitamin dan asam amino untuk memenuhi kebutuhan vitamin dan asam amino pada ayam, mengatasi stres dan meningkatkan kualitas produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Agriminovit® pada air minum terhadap gambaran total dan diferensial leukosit ayam broiler. Seratus ekor ayam dibagi menjadi empat kelompok, masing-masing 25 ekor dipelihara sejak umur satu hari (DOC) sampai umur 35 hari. Kelompok kontrol diberi air minum ad libitum tanpa Agriminovit®, sedangkan kelompok perlakuan I, II, dan III diberi larutan Agriminovit® dengan dosis masing-masing sebesar 0,25 g/L, 0,5 g/L, dan 0,75 g/L sesuai petunjuk pada kemasan (1 g untuk 2 L air minum selama 4 hari) pada hari ke 1-4, 11-15, dan 21-25. Pengambilan sampel darah dilakukan pada hari ke 35 melalui vena brachialis terhadap lima ekor sampel ayam yang dipilih dari masing-masing kelompok dengan metode acak sederhana. Data hasil total dan diferensial leukosit dianalisis dengan metode one way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian Agriminovit® tidak mempengaruhi total dan diferensial leukosit, sehingga produk tersebut aman untuk dikonsumsi oleh ayam.

Agriminovit® is a multivitamin contains a combination of vitamins and amino acids to meet the needs of chicken’s vitamins and amino acids, copes stress and improve production quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Agriminovit® for white blood cell (WBC) count and leukocyte differentials of broiler chickens. One hundred chickens were divided into four groups, each 25 and raised since day old chick (DOC) till 35 days old. The control group was just given water ad libitum, while the treatment groups I, II, and III were given Agriminovit® solution with each dose of 0.25 g/L, 0.5 g/L, and 0.75 g/L as the instructions on the package (1 g for 2 L of water for 4 days) on days 1-4, 11-15, and 21-25. Blood sampling performed at day 35 through the brachial vein of the five chicken samples that selected from each group by a simple random sampling method. Data results of WBC and leukocyte differentials were analyzed with one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the administration of Agriminovit® did not affect the WBC count and leukocyte differentials, so that the product is safe for consumption by chickens.
