ANALISA PERFORMA FEEDWATER HEATER SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH OUTAGE PLTU TANJUNG JATI B UNIT 1

Di dalam sistem PLTU Tanjung Jati B Unit 1 & 2 khususnya di siklus uap juga menerapkan prinsip heat exchanger. Kinerja heat exchanger pada siklus uap (Low Pressure Heater dan High Pressure Heater) dapat menyebabkan menurunnya efisiensi pemanasan air dalam Boiler apabila kemampuan heat transfer pada water heater menurun, menurunnya kemampuan heat transfer ini disebabkan oleh kerusakan yang biasa terjadi pada feedwater heater yaitu kerusakan pada pipanya. Kerusakan pipa ini bisa disebabkan oleh beberapa hal seperti : erosi karena uap, getaran pipa, erosi dan korosi pada pipa inlet, tegangan akibat “corrosion crackingâ€, dan sebagainya. Dalam laporan Tugas Akhir ini akan di analisis mengenai perhitungan efisiensi perpindahan panas pada elemen Heat Exchanger khususnya pada LP Heater dan HP Heater sebelum dan sesudah overhoul. Perhitungannya meliputi Balans Energi (keseimbangan energi), menghitung efisiensi thermal (ηthermal) pada elemen Low Pressure Heater dan High Pressure Heater, menghtiung beban perpindahan panas (Q), menghitung beda temperatur rata-rata logaritmik (LMTD), serta menghitung efisiensi thermal (η) pada elemen sebelum dan sesudah outage. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan tidak menunjukkan perubahan nilai performa yang signifikan, hanya ada beberapa heater saja yang mengalami peningkatan performa. Dikarenakan juga belum adanya penurunan performa dari alat feedwater heater ini, yang baru beroperasi kurang lebih 5 tahun.
“Heat exchanger†serves as a heat exchanger which utilizes heat from a fluid flow. In the system of Tanjung Jati B power plant Units 1 & 2 especially in the steam cycle also apply the principle of heat exchangers. Performance of the heat exchanger in the steam cycle (Low Pressure and High Pressure Heater) can cause a decrease in the efficiency of heating water in the boiler when the heat transfer capability on the water heater down. Decreased ability to transfer heat is caused by damage which is common in the feedwater heater, which is damage to the pipe. This pipe damage can be caused by several things such as: erosion due to steam, pipe vibration, erosion and corrosion of the inlet pipe, stress caused by \\"corrosion cracking\\", and so on. This final project report will analyze the efficiency of heat transfer calculations on the elements of the Heat Exchanger, especially in LP and HP Heater before and after overhoul. The calculations include Balans Energy (energy balance), calculate effectiveness (ηthermal) on the Low Pressure and High Pressure Heater elements, calculate the heat transfer load (Q), calculate the logarithmic mean temperature differences (LMTD), and calculate the temperature efficiency (η) of elements before and after outage. After calculation showed no significant change in the value of the performance, there are only a heater are experiencing an increase in performance. Also due to the lack of decline in the performance of this tool feedwater heater, new operating approximately 5 years.
