Data dari 102 ekor sapi beranak pertama digunakan untuk mengkaji besaran parameter reproduksi khususnya services per conception (S/C) sapi perah Friesian Holstein impor di BBPTU-SP Baturraden. Data diperoleh dari rekapitulasi catatan diteguhkan dengan visitasi ke lokasi peternakan. Besaran parameter reproduksi yang didapat kemudian dianalisa secara deskriptif dan dibandingkan dengan parameter baku yang ada, untuk dinyatakan tingkat efisiensi reproduksinya, Hasil kajian memperlihatkan rata-rata skor kondisi tubuh (SKT) postpartum adalah 2,90 + 0,13 dari rentangan 1.0 sampai 5.0, berat badan induk 359,6 + 9,18 kg, umur pertama partus adalah 757,30 + 52,38 hari, produksi susu 18,99 + 2,50 liter per hari, services per conception adalah 2,67 + 0,04 kali, berat lahir pedet pertama lahir adalah 31,02 + 1,33 kg. Parameter reproduksi sapi perah yang diteliti masih terbilang baik, begitu pula dengan produksi susu, berat badan induk maupun berat lahir pedet. Nilai services per conception menunjukkan angka yang tinggi untuk kondisi tropis seperti Indonesia,namun nilai SKT lebih rendah dari optimum, hal ini disebabkan karena relatif tingginya produksi susu yang kurang imbang dengan asupan pakan.

Data from 102 heads of first calver cows used to study the reproductive parameters, especially services per conception (S/C) in imported Friesian Holstein at Baturraden Dairy Breeding Center. Data were obtained from recapitulation of recordings confirmed by visitation to the farm location. The reproductive parameters known then analyzed descriptively and compared with the normal standards to describe the value of reproductive efficiency. Results of the study showed that in the post-partum period the average body condition score (BCS) was 2.90 + 0.13 from the range of 1.0 to 5.0, body weight of the dams was 359.6 + 9.18 kgs, first parturition age was 757.30 + 52.38 days, daily milk production was 18.99 + 2.50 liters, services per conception was 2.67 + 0.04 times, birth weight of the calves was 31.02 + 1.33 kg. Reproductive parameters of the studied dairy cows can be stated good enough, as well as with daily milk production, body weight of the dams, and birth weight of calves. The number of services per conception showed an high figure for tropical condition like Indonesia, however the BCS that a bit lower than optimum value seemed due to relatively high daily milk production that negatively balanced with feeding provision.
