DINAMIKA PSIKOLOGIS SENIMAN PEREMPUAN DALAM PROSES PENCIPTAAN KARYA SENI LUKIS

Terdapat tiga pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini, yakni 1) latar belakang apa yang memotivasi perempuan untuk menjadi seniman dan bagaimana mereka memotivasi dirinya dalam berkarya seni demi eksistensinya? 2) bagaimanakah cara seniman memaknai pesan yang terkandung dalam proses penciptaan karya seni? Dan, 3) bagaimanakah dinamika psikologis seniman perempuan dalam proses penciptaan karya seni lukis? Ketiga pertanyaan penelitian ini merupakan suatu kesatuan gagasan guna mengungkapkan dinamika psikologis seniman perempuan dalam proses penciptaan karya seni lukis. Guna mengungkapkan jawaban atas tiga pertanyaan tersebut, data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan kepustakaan, dan digunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi yang berdasar pada teori proses kreatif, motivasi dan situasi emosi. Penelitian ini di lakukan di kota Yogyakarta, dengan tiga responden seniman perempuan. Pemilihan responden dalam penelitian ini adalah sudah menikah, jam terbang seniman dalam berpameran, dan masih berkarya hingga saat ini. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan empat temuan penelitian, yakni 1) pelukis membiarkan emosi mendistorsi objek yang dilihatnya; 2) berkarya bagi seniman adalah salah satu perwujudan dari cara pandang terhadap kehidupan atau kejadian yang ada juga sebagai sebuah harapan akan masa depan; 3) pilihan untuk menjadi pelukis adalah pilihan yang jauh lebih dari profesi lain, aktualisasi diri; 4) dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terdapat kegelisahan yang selalu muncul demi mendapatkan ide yang baru, disequilibrium.

There are three research questions posed in the study, i. e. (1) background what motives women to become artists and how they motivate themselves in a work of art for sake of its existence? (2) how artists interpret the messages contained in the process of creating a work art? And (3) how does the psychological dynamics of women artists in the procedd of creating a work of art?. The third question this research is a unity of ideas in order to reveal the psychological dynamics of women artists in the process of creating works of art painting. In order to reveal the answer to the three questions, the data collected techniques through of observation, interview and librarianship, and used a qualitative approach based on the phenomenological theory of the creative process, motivation and emotion of the situation. This research was done in the city of Yogyakarta, with three of the respondents women artists. The selection of respondents in this research was already married, flying hours artists in exhibition, and still works to this day. The results of this research to find out four research findings, i.e. (1) painter let emotions distort the objects he saw; (2) work of artists is one manifestation of the way of looking towards life or event that exists as well as an expectation of the future; (3) choice to be painter’s far more than other professions, self-actualization; (4) in everyday life, there is a restlessness that always comes up in order to get new ideas, disequilibrium.
