ANALISIS SPASIAL POLA SEBARAN HOTEL BERBINTANG DI PROVINSI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA (DIY) TAHUN 2010-2012

Perkembangan Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) sebagai daerah tujuan wisata seiring dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan jumlah hotel, namun pertumbuhan tersebut hanya terkonsentrasi di beberapa daerah. Penelitian mengenai pola spasial konsentrasi hotel berbintang di Provinsi DIY ini mengambil periode penelitian selama 3 tahun, yaitu tahun 2010 hingga 2012. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui di mana lokasi sebaran hotel berbintang di Provinsi DIY, mengetahui pola sebaran hotel berbintang di Provinsi DIY, dan untuk mengetahui prediktor atau variabel yang sangat berpengaruh dalam pola sebaran hotel berbintang di Provinsi DIY. Prediktor atau variabel yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain kelas hotel, lebar jalan depan hotel, jarak dengan pusat kota, dan jarak dengan bandar udara. Alat analisis dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) untuk mengetahui lokasi sebaran hotel berbintang, analisis tetangga terdekat untuk menganalisis pola sebaran hotel berbintang yang ada di Provinsi DIY, dan analisis logistik untuk mengetahui prediktor atau variabel yang sangat berpengaruh dalam pola sebaran hotel berbintang di Provinsi DIY. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokasi hotel berbintang terdapat di Kota Yogyakarta, yakni Kecamatan Jetis, Gondokusuman, Danurejan, Gedongtengen, Mantrijeron, Gondomanan, Pakualam, dan Mergangsan; dan di Kabupaten Sleman, yaitu pada Kecamatan Depok, Kalasan, Ngaglik, dan Pakem; sedangkan pada Kabupaten Bantul hanya terdapat di Kecamatan Sewon; dan di Kabupaten Gunungkidul hanya berada di Kecamatan Purwosari. Dari hasil analisis tetangga terdekat terbagi atas 3 (tiga) katagori, yaitu katagori penyebaran rendah (mengelompok), katagori penyebaran sedang (acak), dan katagori penyebaran tinggi (merata). Hasil analisis logistik diketahui bahwa prediktor atau variabel yang secara signifikan berpengaruh dalam pola sebaran hotel berbintang di Provinsi DIY adalah jarak hotel dengan pusat kota dan jarak hotel dengan bandar udara. Untuk prediktor kelas hotel dan lebar jalan tidak signifikan terhadap pola sebaran hotel berbintang di Provinsi DIY.

The development of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) as a tourist destination along with the rapid growth in the number of hotels. However, the growth is only concentrated in certain areas. The research of the distribution ofstar-rated hotels locationon spatial patterns in DIY uses the study period of 3 years, from 2010 to 2012. The purpose of this research is to determine location of star-rated hotels that exist in DIY, to identify the pattern of distribution star-rated hotels, and to determine the predictors or variables that were influential in the pattern of distribution star-rated hotels in DIY. The predictors or variables used in this study are the star-rated, the average room rates, front road width of the hotels, the distance to the city center, and the distance to the airport. Analytical tools in this research is the GIS analysis to determine the location of star-rated hotels that exist in DIY, the analysis of nearest neighbours to analyze the pattern of distribution star-rated hotels, and logistic analysis to determine predictors or variables that are significantly influence the dsitribution pattern of star-rated hotels in DIY. The results shows that the star-rated hotels located in the City of Yogyakarta at the District Jetis, Gondokusuman, Danurejan, Gedongtengen, Mantrijeron, Gondomanan, Pakualam, and Mergangsan, and in Sleman Regency, which is at Depok District, Kalasan, Ngaglik, and Pakem, meanwhile in Bantul Regency only located in Sewon District, and in Gunungkidul only located in the District Purwosari. From the nearest neighbours analysis is divided into 3 (three) categories, namely the category of lower spread (clustered), the category of medium spread (random), and the category of high spread (dispered). The results of logistic analysis shows that predictor or variables that significantly influence the pattern of distribution star-rated hotels that exist in DIY is its distance to the city center and the distance to the airport. Moreover, star-rated and road width variables are not significantly influence the pattern of distribution star-rated hotels in DIY
