PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM “SALING MENYAYANGI†DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERILAKU PROSOSIAL DI KELAS TK

The high number of bullying cases that occurs in schools today requires prevention from kindergarten. Children at the age of Kindergarten classes start learning to show empathy and concern for others, so it is important that teachers attempt to create an environment of mutual respect and help children learn not to hurt each other. This study was conducted to test the effectiveness of “Saling Menyayangi†program adapted from the book The Anti-Bullying and teasing Program for Preschool Classroom in increasing prosocial behavior in the kindergarten classrooms. The study was conducted on the recommendation of the previous research; developing the theme of feeling from the book. The study was conducted with a quasi-experimental design of untreated control group design with pre-test and post-test involving two kindergartens in Sleman, each of which served as a control group and an experimental group. Data were analyzed using mixed-design ANOVA. Analysis of the results of this study is that there was an increase in prosocial behavior among students in the experimental group before and after the implementation of the program (F = 25.520; MD = -1.682, p <0.05).
Bullying di sekolah mengakibatkan sejumlah dampak negatif. Tingginya jumlah kasus bullying di sekolah yang terjadi saat ini mengharuskan adanya pencegahan sejak Taman Kanak-Kanak. Anak pada usia kelas Taman Kanak- Kanak mulai mempelajari untuk menunjukkan empati dan kepedulian terhadap orang lain, maka saat inilah pentingnya usaha guru untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang saling menghargai dan membantu anak belajar untuk tidak menyakiti satu sama lain. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan menguji efektivitas program “Saling Menyayangi†yang diadaptasi dari buku The Anti Bullying and Teasing Program for Preschool Classroom dalam meningkatkan perilaku prososial di kelas Taman Kanak-Kanak. Penelitian dilakukan atas rekomendasi peneliti sebelumnya yaitu, mengembangkan tema Perasaan dari buku tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain eksperimen kuasi untreated control group design with pre-test and post-test melibatkan dua TK di Sleman yang masing-masing berperan sebagai satu kelompok kontrol dan satu kelompok eksperimen. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varian campuran. Analisis hasil atas penelitian ini terjadi peningkatan perilaku prososial siswa pada kelompok eksperimen antara sebelum dan sesudah implementasi program (F=25,520;MD= -1,682; p<0,05).
