ANALISIS KERUSAKAN STRUKTUR PERKERASAN DAN TANAH DASAR PADA RUAS JALAN LEADER-BAIRO PITE, KOTA DILI

2013 | Tesis | S2 Teknik SipilRuas jalan Leader – Bairo Pite Kota Dili, merupakan jalan Kabupaten yang menghubungkan Distrik Liquesa dengan Manatuto yang berfungsi sebagai prasarana aktivitas daerah, dan sebagai jalur alternatif maka diperlukan perawatan dan perbaikan agar dapat melayani lalulintas sesuai dengan fungsinya. Analisis terhadap kondisi jalan diperlukan sebelum dilakukan perawatan dan perbaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengelompokkan jenis, tipe dan tingkat kerusakan, penyebab utama kerusakan dan menentukan cara perbaikan kerusakan perkerasan ruas jalan Leader – Bairo Pite. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan survei kondisi dengan menggunakan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) pada ruas jalan Leader – Bairo Pite yang memiliki panjang keseluruhan 3,00 kilometer. Ruas jalan ini dibagi menjadi segmensegmen berukuran 6,0 m x 100 m untuk setiap unit sampel penelitian. Analisis tebal lapisan tambahan dilakukan dengan uji penetrometer kerucut dinamis (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer, DCP) tanah dasar, survei lalulintas serta analisis tebal lapis tambahan menggunakan metode AASHTO, 1993. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 30 unit sampel secara visual jenis kerusakan yang terjadi yaitu alligator cracking, bleding, block cracking, bump and sag, corrugation, depression, patching, pothole, polished aggregate, swell, dan weathering and raveling, kerusakan dominan jenis depression dengan luas 1603,00 m2 atau 8,91% luas total jalan Leader – Bairo Pite dan diperoleh nilai PCI rata-rata sebesar 46,60 atau kondisi perkerasan sedang (fair), hasil uji DCP diperoleh nilai CBR tanah dasar rata-rata 7,79 % dan CBR yang mewakili sebesar 5 %, CBR lapangan lapis pondasi diperoleh rata-rata 74,165 %, hasil survei lalulintas diperoleh LHR ruas jalan Leader – Bairo Pite sebanyak 2989 kendaraan/hari. Perbaikan kerusakan dilakukan sesuai dengan lokasi, jenis dan tingkat kerusakannya. Apabila dilakukan lapis tambahan, dari analisis tebal lapis tambahan dengan umur rencan 10 tahun diperoleh tebal lapis tambahan 9,00 cm.
The Leader – Bairo Pite road section in Kota Dili is a Regency road connecting the District Liquesa and Manatuto and functioning as the regional activity infrastructure as well as the alternative line. Hence, it requires maintenance and improvement in order to provide service as intended. Analysis of the road condition is required before maintenance and improvement are taken. The objective of this study was to identify and classify the types and level of damage, the main reason of the damage and to determine the improvement method for Leader – Bairo Pite road section. This study was carried out by taking survey of the road condition using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method for Leader – Bairo Pite road section within the overall length of 3.00 kilometer. This road section was divided into several segments in 6.0 m x 100 m for each sample unit. The analysis of additional layer thickness was carried out using the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP), the base soil, traffic survey and AASHTO, 1993. Results of this study indicated that the 30 sample units showed damage visually. They consisted of alligator cracking, bleding, block cracking, bump and sag, corrugation, depression, patching, pothole, polished aggregate, swell, and weathering and raveling with dominant damage in depression type of 1603.00 m2 area or 8.91% of the total area of Leader – Bairo Pite road section. The average PCI was 46.60 indicating fair pavement condition. The DCP test results showed that the CBR average value for base soil was 7.79 % and the representing CBR was 5 %. The average CBR for foundation layer field was 74.165 %. The traffic survey results indicated that LHR of the Leader – Bairo Pite road section was 2,989 vehicle/day. Improvement was carried out based on the location, type and level of the damage. Based on the analysis, the additional layer thickness within 10 years of planned service period was 9.00 cm.
