EVALUASI KETERSEDIAAN NUTRIEN DALAM CORNDRIED DISTILLER GRAIN WITH SOLUBLES (CORN-DDGS) SEBAGAI PAKAN PUYUH JANTAN

2013 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu PeternakanPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Corn-Dried Distillers Grains With Solubles (Corn-DDGS) sebagai bahan pakan puyuh jantan. Variabel yang diamati adalah kandungan kimia bahan, berat molekul protein, komposisi asam amino, protein tercerna in vitro, energi metabolis (ME) serta performan produksi puyuh jantan. Protein kasar (PK), ekstrak eter (EE), serat kasar (SK), abu, ditentukan menggunakan metode analisis proksimat, mineral Ca menggunakan metode EDTA dengan titrasi dan P ditentukan dengan metode spektrofotometri, penentuan berat molekul protein secara elektroforesis dengan metode SDS- PAGE, determinasi asam amino (AA) menggunakan kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi (HPLC), kecernaan protein secara in vitro metode Whalphole, energi metabolis pada puyuh jantan menggunakan metode total koleksi basah, sedangkan uji performan menggunakan metode feeding trial menggunakan ransum empat level DDGS yang berbeda (0, 10, 20, dan 30%). Hasil analisis proksimat didapat, DDGS mengandung PK; EE; SK; abu; Ca dan P berturut-turut sebesar 25,63; 7,82; 6,85; 3,70; 0,27; dan 1,14%. Hasil elektroforesis menunjukkan ada dua pita protein, yaitu pada berat molekul 19,7 dan 7,7 kDa. Analisis asam amino menunjukkan ada 17 macam asam amino, yaitu Asp, Glu, Ser, Gly, His, Arg, Thr, Ala, Pro, Tyr, Val, Met, Cys, Ile, Leu, Phe, dan Lys berturut-turut sebesar 1,05; 2,13; 0,41; 0,19; 0,69; 0,61; 0,45; 0,22; 0,26; 0,37; 0,70; 0,84; 0,42; 0,31; 0,59; 0,43, dan 0,59%. Nilai kecernaan protein in vitro sebesar 67,11% dan nilai energi metabolisme (TME) 3.233,97 kcal/kg. Tidak ada efek dari peningkatan level DDGS pada konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot harian dan feed convertion ratio selama periode perlakuan (P>0,05). Disimpulkan, bahwa DDGS masih mempunyai nutirien yang baik untuk unggas dan bisa digunakan sampai level 30% dalam pakan puyuh jantan.
The objective of this study was to evaluate Corn Distillers Dried Grains With Solubles (Corn-DDGS) as ingridient of coturnix feed. Observed variables were the chemical content, protein molecular weight, amino acid composition, protein digestibility in vitro, metabolism energy (ME), and growth performance. Chemical content include: crude protein (CP), ekstract eter (EE), crude fiber (CF), ash, calcium (Ca) and phosphorus (P). Crude protein, EE, CF, and ash were determined by proximate method analysis, mineral Ca with EDTA method by titration and P was determined by spectrophotometry, determination of molecular weight of proteins by electrophoresis with SDS-PAGE method, determination of amino acids using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), protein digestibility in vitro with Whalphole method, male coturnix metabolism energy using the wet force feeding, while the growth performance test using feeding trial method using four different level of DDGS (0, 10, 20, and 30%). Proximate analysis results that DDGS, containing CP, EE, CF, ash, Ca, and P 1.14% were 25.63; 7.82; 6.85; 3.70; 0.27, and 1.14% respectively. The results of electrophoresis showed the had two protein bands, 19.7 and 7.7 kDa. Amino acid analysis showed there were 17 kinds of amino acids namely : Asp, Glu, Ser, Gly, His, Arg, Thr, Ala, Pro, Tyr, Val, Met, Cys, Ile, Leu, Phe, and Lys were 1.05; 2.13; 0.41, 0.19; 0.69; 0.61; 0.45; 0.22, 0.26; 0.37; 0.70; 0.84; 0.42; 0.31, 0.59; 0.43 and 0.59% respectively. In vitro protein digestibility values of 67.11% and metabolism energy (TME) 3.233.97 kcal/kg. There had no effect of increasing levels of DDGS on daily gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio (FCR) during the experimental period (P>0.05). It could be concluded that DDGS have good nutirien for poultry and could be used up to the level of 30% on male coturnix feed.
