PENERAPAN APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY COACHING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFIKASI DIRI PADA KARYAWAN DI SUATU LSM

2013 | Tesis | S2 Magister Profesi PsikologiPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh appreciative inquiry coaching pada efikasi diri karyawan di LSM. Efikasi diri sangat penting bagi karyawan di LSM karena dapat mempengaruhi karyawan dalam membuat keputusan, aspirasi, dan seberapa besar upaya yang dilakukan, serta berapa lama ia akan bertahan dalam menghadapi kesulitan selama melakukan pendampingan pada masyarakat. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 14 orang karyawan LSM yang terbagi atas 7 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang mendapatkan appreciative inquiry coaching dan 7 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol (waiting-list). Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain adding a nonequivalent notreatment control group time series (Shadish, Cook, & Campbell, 2002). Variabel efikasi diri diukur dengan menggunakan 33 aitem pada skala efikasi diri yang dikembangkan dari teori Bandura (1997). Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan analisis anava campuran yang menunjukkan pemberian appreciative inquiry coaching dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri (F = 16,457 dan p<0,05).
This study is aimed to determine the effect of appreciative inquiry coaching on employee’s self-efficacy in a Non Government Organization. Self efficacy is very important for employees in NGOs because it can affect employee’s decisions making, aspirations, how big employee’s effort that has been done, and how long they will survive in facing the obstacles during doing mentoring program to the community. There were 14 subjects of the research of Non Government Organizational employees that were divided into two parts. Seven people became experimental group that received appreciative inquiry coaching, and seven people were as the control group (waiting-list). The research design used in this study is quasi-experimental by adding a nonequivalent no-treatment control group time series design (Shadish, Cook, & Campbell, 2002). Self efficacy variable was measured by using 33 items on self-efficacy scale that was developed from the theory of Bandura (1997). Hypotheses were tested using Mixed Anova Analysis showed that giving appreciative inquiry coaching can enhance self-efficacy (F = 16.457 and p <0.05).
