RANCANG BANGUN INFRASTRUKTUR JARINGAN KOMPUTER DI DINAS KESEHATAN PROVINSI KALIMANTAN TENGAH (Studi Kasus: Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah)

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam proses pemerintah untuk meningkatan efisiensi, efektifitas, transparansi dan akuntabilitas penyelenggaaraan pemerintah merupakan arti dari e-government. Saat ini, Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah memiliki website tetapi belum memiliki infrastruktur untuk jaringan komputer lokal yang terintegrasi, hal ini menyulitkan satuan kerja baik diwilayah perkotaan, kecamatan, kelurahan dan pedesaan yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Jaringan Lokal Area Network (LAN) yang ada di Dinas Kesehatan hanya digunakan untuk layanan internet. Kebutuhan informasi oleh Puskesmas ke Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi maupun sebaliknya melalui internet juga menjadikan dasar pengembangan infrastruktur jaringan komputer Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, agar menjadi lebih besar dan terstruktur serta sudah terkoneksi ke jaringan internet. Dari hasil simulasi dan analisis dengan cisco packet tracer dengan parameter average time dan delay packet, untuk jaringan kabel topologi star – eksperimen dua dan jaringan wireless – eksperimen satu memiliki nilai confidence level dan confidence interval cukup baik serta harga komponen hardware yang lebih kecil.

Information and communication technology in government processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and accountability of government is the meaning of e-government. Currently, Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Office has a website but don’t have the infrastructure yet for the local computer network that is integrated, it is difficult for either unit urban region, district, village and rural areas scattered throughout the province of Central Kalimantan. Network Local Area Network (LAN) in the Department of Health is only used for internet services. The need for information by the health center to the Provincial Health Office and vice versa via the internet also makes the basis for the development of computer network infrastructure in Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Office, in order to become more bigger and structured and are connected to the Internet. From the results of simulation and analysis with cisco packet tracer with parameters time average and packet delay, for star topology wired network - experiments two and wireless networks - an experiment one has a value of confidence level and confidence interval is quite good and the price of hardware components smaller.
