EVALUASI KESIAPAN PENGGUNA DALAM ADOPSI SISTEM INFORMASI TERINTEGRASI DI BIDANG KEUANGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE TECHNOLOGY READINESS INDEX

Adopsi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dalam konsep terintegrasi sudah menjadi suatu kebutuhan bagi perusahaan maupun organisasi yang ingin mendapatkan competitive advantages sebagai competitive weapon. Namun, adopsi ini tidak selalu berjalan lancar karena menghadapi berbagai tantangan. Salah satu tantangan berat dalam adopsi TIK adalah kesiapan pengguna TIK. Ketidaksiapan pengguna akan menciptakan resistensi terhadap TIK dan dampak lebih jauh bisa menggagalkan adopsi TIK itu sendiri dan bisa menciptakan lingkugan yang tidak harmonis dalam perusahaan maupun organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi kesiapan teknologi pengguna dalam proses adopsi TIK di bidang keuangan pada Direktorat Keuangan UGM, diukur dari keyakinan positif dan keyakinan negatif pengguna terhadap teknologi dengan mengadopsi metode Technology Readiness Index (TRI). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum tingkat kesiapan teknologi pengguna SI Keuangan Direktorat Keuangan UGM berada pada tingkat yang cukup, meskipun pengguna cenderung memiliki rasa ketidaknyamanan dan ketidakamanan yang tinggi terhadap penggunaan teknologi.

Adoption of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the integrated concept has become a necessity for companies and organizations who want to gain competitive advantages as a competitive weapon. However, adoption does not always go smoothly in the face of various challenges. One challenge in the adoption of ICT is the ICT user readiness. Low level of users readiness will create resistance to further the impact of ICT and ICT adoption could derail itself and can create disharmony of environmental that the company or organization. This study aimed to evaluate the readiness of the technology users in the process of ICT adoption in the financial sector in the Directorate of Finance of UGM, measured from the positive beliefs and negative beliefs toward technology users to adopt the method of Technology Readiness Index (TRI). The results of this study indicate that in general the level of user technology readiness is at a sufficient level, although users tend to have a sense of hgh discomfort and high insecurity on the use of technology.
