Pada penulisan thesis ini, membahas tentang Manajemen Sistem Informasi pada studi kasus PT Smart Telecom di divisi Operation and Maintenance Center Surabaya. Dengan tujuan untuk menganalisa kebutuhan dan unsur–unsur pendukung yang dapat dimplementasikan dalam sebuah desain sistem informasi yang terintegrasi, serta mampu dikembangkan menjadi sebuah aplikasi Operation Maintenance Information System (OMIS) yang customable, applicable untuk jangka pendek 2-3 tahun ke depan. Proses penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode analisa deskriptif, data dan informasi didapatkan melalui proses pengamatan dan wawancara secara langsung terhadap obyeknya. Analisis dan sistem desain dari proses yang sedang berjalan, bisa memberikan sebuah informasi yang reliable sebagai bagian dari Decision Support System. Semua itu dalam upaya mentransformasi proses manual ke arah otomatisasi sistem informasi, sinergi dengan keseluruhan bisnis proses perusahaan.

At the writing of this thesis, discusses Management Information Systems at PT Smart Telecom case study in the Division Operation and Maintenance Center Surabaya. With the aim to analyze the needs and supporting elements that can be implemented in an integrated information system design, and can be developed into an application Operation Maintenance Information System (OMIS) which customable and applicable for short term 2-3 years. The process of research done by the descriptive analysis methods, data and information obtained through interviews and direct observation of the object. System analysis and design of processes that are running, can provide a reliable information as part of the Decision Support System. All were able to transform a manual process towards the automation of information systems, the synergy with the overall business process of the company.
