Kajian dan Penilaian Penerapan Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi Dengan Menggunakan Maturity Model Cobit 4.1 Studi Kasus Pada Salah Satu Unit Area PT X

Tata kelola teknologi Informasi (IT governance) merupakan salah satu bagian dari good corporate governance yang diharapkan dapat berkontribusi besar bagi pencapaian tujuan perusahaan, termasuk tujuan dari Unit Area Z (salah satu Unit Area PT X). Untuk mengukur tingkat kematangan penerapan tata kelola TI di Unit Area Z maka digunakan alat ukur Capability Maturity Model (CMM) yang terdapat dalam COBIT 4.1 framework. Dalam penilitian ini terdapat 26 proses TI yang telah diukur dengan menggunakan CMM. Nilai maturity level Unit Area Z tahun 2011 adalah sebesa 3.13 dengan target yang diharapkan adalah sebesar 3.10. Walaupun secara rata-rata nilai maturity level Unit Area Z telah mencapai target, namun masih terdapat beberapa proses yang belum mencapai target manajemen. Perolehan nilai maturity level sebesar 3.13 mendeskripsikan kondisi tingkat kematangan pada level ―Defined Process‖, atau dengan kata lain, keseluruhan proses TI Unit Area Z tidak hanya telah dijalankan secara konsisten, namun telah terdokumentasi dengan baik walaupun masih terdapat beberapa proses yang belum dijalankan secara optimal. Untuk mencapai tingkat kematangan penerapan tata kelola TI di tahun selanjutnya, maka Unit Area Z dapat menerapkan beberapa rekomendasi yang telah diuraikan dalam penelitian ini berdasrakan hasil gap analysis yang telah dilakukan.

Information technology governance (IT governance) is one the good corporate governance (GCG) part that is aimed to achieve. It contributes significant for the achievement of business’s objective, including the objective achievement of Unit Area Z (a Unit Area at PT X). to measure the maturity level of IT governance application in the Unit Area Z, capability maturity model (CMM) available in COBIT 4.1 framework is used. This reaserch consist of 26 IT processes which have been measures by CMM. Maturity level for Unit Area Z in 2011 scored 3.13 which exceed the expected target by 0.03 (the actual target is 3.10). In general, maturity level for Unit Area Z has achieved the target, however there are several processes which have not achieved it. The 3.13 score of maturity level in Unit Area Z in 2011 describes the condition on level of “defined process”, or in definition, the whole IT processes in Unit Area Z has not only been working consistently, but also has documented very well, though there are still several processes which have not been applied optimally. In order to achieve a higher maturity level on IT governance in the following year, Unit Area Z is encouraged to apply several recommendations which have been explained in this research based on analysis gap result.
