KUALITAS KEHIDUPAN KERJA (QUALITY OF WORK LIFE) DITINJAU DARI KOMITMEN KARIR DAN PERSEPSI KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL

Ini berarti sudah suatu keharusan sebuah organisasi memperhatikan kualitas kehidupan kerja yang ada diorganisasinya. Penerapan kualitas kehidupan kerja diharapkan dapat berdampak baik bagi organisasi secara keseluruhan, terutama dalam membina hubungan dengan para karyawannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komitmen karir dan persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional dengan kualitas kehidupan kerja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 70 orang karyawan. Alat pengumpul data terdiri dari kuesioner kualitas kehidupan kerja, kuesioner komitmen karir, dan kuesioner persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional. Data di analisis menggunakan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hipotesis penelitian ini di terima, yaitu ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan (R=0,685; F=29,610; p=0,001) antara komitmen karir dan persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional dengan kualitas kehidupan kerja. Kontribusi komitmen karir dan persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kualitas kehidupan kerja adalah 46,9 persen. Ini berarti bahwa 46,9 persen kualitas kehidupan kerja dapat dijelaskan oleh komitmen karir dan persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi komitmen karir yang dimiliki karyawan dan semakin tinggi kepemimpinan transformasional yang di persepsi karyawan maka kualitas kehidupan kerja semakin meningkat.
Productive work place is a place where humans may find dignity, meaning, and security for themselves during their contribution for organization. It means that it is obligatory for an organization to pay attention towards the quality of work life existing inside it. Implementation of quality of work life is expected to provide positive impact for organization entirely, especially in fostering good relationship among its employees. The purpose of the study was to examine the correlation between career commitment and perception of transformational leadership towards quality of work life. The study was a correlational research involving 70 employees as participants. Measuring instruments used in the study were quality of work life questionnaire, career commitment questionnaire, and perception of transformational leadership questionnaire. The data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis technique. The result of the analysis showed that the hypothesis of the study was accepted, which showed that there was a very significant correlation (R=0,685; F=29,610; p=0,001) between career commitment and perception of transformational leadership towards quality of work life. Contribution of career commitment and perception of transformational leadership towards quality of work life was 46,9 percent. It meant that 46,9 percent of quality of work life could be explained by career commitment and perception of transformational leadership. The result of the study showed that the higher career commitment of an employee and the higher transformational leadership perceived by the employee, the higher quality of work life.
