Pengaruh Program Pengasuhan Cinta Remaja terhadap Kualitas Pengasuhan Ibu

Pengasuhan orangtua merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam penyesuaian diri remaja, khususnya ibu yang cenderung lebih dekat dengan anak dan remaja. Ibu dengan model pengasuhan authoritative berdampak lebih positif pada anak dan remaja dibandingkan dengan model pengasuhan lainnya. Pengasuhan authoritative terangkum dalam Program Pengasuhan Cinta Remaja (PPCR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh PPCR terhadap kualitas pengasuhan ibu. Penelitian ini menggunakan untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu. Subjek dalam kelompok eksperimen mendapat intervensi berupa PPCR. Pengaruh program diketahui dari perubahan pada skor skala pengasuhan ibu. Hasil analisis Mann Whitney U-test with gain scores menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol setelah program diberikan. Hasil analisis pretest dan posttest yaitu U = 6,000 dan p = 0,561; posttest yaitu U = 7,000 dan p = 0,773. Berdasarkan gain score pengasuhan yang diperoleh beberapa subjek terdapat perubahan yang fluktuatif. Analisis kualitatif memberikan gambaran dinamis tentang pengasuhan yang dilakukan oleh subjek, baik sebelum maupun sesudah program diberikan.

Parenting plays an important role in adolescents’ adjustment, especially mothers who tend to be closer to them. Mothers with authoritative parenting give more positive impact to children and adolescents’ adjustment than other models. Authoritative parenting summarized in Program Pengasuhan Cinta Remaja (PPCR). This present research focused on examining the PPCR in increasing the quality of maternal parenting. This study uses untreated control group design with pre-test and post-test. Subjects of this study were eight mothers, with moderate to low score of Skala Pengasuhan who’s matched to their teens with moderate to low score of Skala Persepsi terhadap Pengasuhan Ibu. They were divided into two groups. The first group received PPCR as an experiment group, where is the second group as the control group (waiting list). The results of the analysis Mann-Whitney U-test with gains scores showed no significant increase in the experimental group compared to the control group after the program is given. The results of the analysis of pre-test and post-test U = 6.000 and p = 0.561; post-test, and follow-up that is U = 7.000 and p = 0.773. There were some fluctuations of gain score on certain subjects. Qualitative analysis provides a dynamic view of maternal parenting, both before and after the program is given.
