ANALISIS NILAI TAMBAH DAN STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN INDUSTRI RUMAH TANGGA OLAHAN JAGUNG DI KABUPATEN GROBOGAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui besarnya nilai tambah serta kelayakan usaha pengolahan jagung pada industri rumah tangga di Kabupaten Grobogan, (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai tambah pada industri Rumah Tangga pengolahan jagung, (3) mengetahui kontribusi usaha Rumah Tangga olahan jagung terhadap total pendapatan Rumah Tangga, (4) merumuskan strategi pengembangan industri Rumah Tangga olahan jagung di Kabupaten Grobogan. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, analisis nilai tambah menurut Hayami, analisis kelayakan usaha, analisis regresi linier berganda dengan model fungsi produksi Cobb Douglas untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai tambah olahan jagung dan Analisis SWOT. Nilai tambah dari proses pengolahan jagung menjadi emping adalah sebesar Rp. 4.574 per kilogram dan untuk marning sebesar Rp. 2.823 per kilogram. Total penerimaan rata-rata selama produksi 1 bulan untuk usaha olahan emping jagung sebesar Rp.5.264.225 dengan keuntungan rata-rata adalah sebesar Rp.732.692. Usaha olahan marning jagung rata-rata total penerimaan per periode produksi 1 bulan sebesar Rp.5.583.888 dengan keuntungan rata-rata adalah sebesar Rp. 444.230. Nilai RC ratio untuk usaha emping jagung adalah sebesar 1,18 dan nilai RC ratio untuk usaha marning jagung adalah sebesar 1,09. BEP unit untuk usaha olahan emping jagung adalah sebesar 29,38 kilogram dan BEP unit untuk usaha olahan marning jagung adalah sebesar 65,35 kilogram. Faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai tambah olahan jagung di Kabupaten Grobogan adalah usia pengusaha, lama usaha dan jenis usaha. Persentase kontribusi pendapatan olahan jagung di Kabupaten Grobogan terhadap total pendapatan Rumah Tangga pengusaha termasuk tinggi. Strategi pengembangan industri Rumah Tangga olahan jagung di Kabupaten Grobogan atas dasar lingkungan strategik berada pada Kuadran I, yaitu mendayagunakan semua kekuatan yang dimiliki untuk meraih peluang sebesar-besarnya.

This research aimed (1) to determine the amount of added value and the feasibility of corn processing home industry in Grobogan District, (2) to analyze the factors that influenced added value of corn processing home industry, (3) to investigate the contribution of corn processing home industry to total household income, and (4) to formulate development strategy for home industry corn processing in Grobogan District. This research covered analysis methods several including, the added value Analysis according Hayami, et all (1987), the feasibility analysis, Multiple linear regression analysis with Cobb Douglas’s product functional models function to determine the factors that affect the added value of corn processing and SWOT Analysis. The added value of processing corn into chips is Rp. 4574 per kilogram and for marning Rp. 2823 per kilogram, Value added is a gross added value to the producers since it has not reduced by labor’s wage. The monthly average total revenue for corn processing production into corn chip of Rp.5.264.225 and into marning of Rp.5.583.888 with the average profit obtained entrepreneur is Rp.732.692 and Rp. 444,230 respectively. RC ratio value of corn processing into corn chips amounted 1,18 and RC ratio value of corn processing into marning of 1,09. Furthermore, units BEP of processing corn chips amount to 29,38 kilogram and the production value BEP is Rp. 452.221. The calculations of units BEP of processing marning amount to 65,35 kilogram and production value BEP is Rp. 847.731. Added value of processed corn products in Grobogan Districtwere influenced by several factors including; the producer’s age, the length of producer’s experience and type of products. Corn processing in Grobogan District provided a high contribution to the total family income of producers. Based on internal and external environtment assessment, the suitable development strategy for corn processing home industry in Grobogan District is by maximizing their strength and taking advantages of opportunities provided.
