ANALISIS STRUKTUR PEREKONOMIAN KECAMATAN DI KOTA MEDAN TAHUN 2006 - 2009

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis struktur perekonomian dan perubahan struktur perekonomian tiap kecamatan di Kota Medan, serta menganalisis PDRB perkapita penduduk kecamatan di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Korelasi Rank Spearman yang digunakan untuk menganalisis perubahan struktur perekonomian kecamatan di Kota Medan dari tahun 2006 – 2009, apabila nilai Rho (ρ) mendekati 0 (nol) artinya ada perubahan struktur perekonomian di kecamatan tersebut, bila nilai (ρ) mendekati 1 (satu) artinya tidak perubahan struktur perekonomian, namun ada pergeseran kontribusi sektoral di kecamatan tersebut. Jika nilai (ρ) = 1, artinya sama sekali tidak terjadi perubahan struktur perekonomian di kecamatan tersebut selama kurun waktu tahun 2006 – 2009. Temuan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa sektor yang paling dominan terhadap PDRB Kota Medan adalah sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restoran.Selama kurun waktu 2006 – 2009, ada (17) tujuh belas kecamatan yang struktur perekonomiannya tidak berubah sama sekali dengan nilai (ρ) = 1. Adapun kecamatan Medan Baru, Kecamatan Medan Tembung, Kecamatan Medan Deli dan Kecamatan Medan Labuhan memiliki nilai (ρ) = 0,983, artinya secara umum tidak mengalami perubahan struktur ekonomi yang signifikan. Rata-rata PDRB perkapita di Kota Medan adalah Rp14,49 juta, dimana penyebarannya tidak terfokus pada area tertentu. PDRB perkapita terbesar adalah Kecamatan Medan Barat sebesar Rp77,56 juta (dominan sektor Industri Pengolahan) dan PDRB perkapita terendah adalah Kecamatan Medan Marelan, sebesar Rp1,86 juta (dominan sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restoran) dengan rata-rata PDRB perkapita

The purpose of this research is to analyze the economic structure of each subdistricts in Medan City, the changes, and to analyze the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita. The research is using the Rank Spearman’s Correlation Analysis to investigate the changes of sub-districts’ economic structure of each subdistricts in Medan City between 2006 and 2009; if the value of Rho (ρ) is close to 0 (zero) means there is a change in the economic structure in the sub-district; if the value of (ρ) approaches 1 (one) means there is no change in the structure of the economy, but there is a shift in the sectoral contribution in the subdistricts. However, if the value of (ρ) = 1, it means absolutely there is no change of the economic structure in the sub-districts during the period 2006-2009. The finding of this study reveals that the most dominant sector to contribute to the GRDP of Medan City is the trade, hotels and restaurant sector. During the period 2006 - 2009, there were (17) seventeen sub-districts which their economy structure did not change at all with the value (ρ) = 1. On the other hand, the subdistrict of Medan Baru, Medan Tembung, Medan Deli and Medan Labuhan have the ρ value=0.983, which means that generally these sub-districts do not experience a significant change in the economic structure. The average GDP per capita in the city of Medan is Rp14,49 million which are spread do not focused on a particular area. The largest GRDP per capita is experienced by Medan Barat sub-district at Rp77,56 million (dominated by manufacturing sector) while the lowest per capita GDP is at Medan Marelan sub-district, amounting to Rp1,86 million (the dominant sector is trade, hotels and restaurants) of the average GRDP per capita.
