PENGARUH PUPUK KANDANG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN LEGUMINOSA DAN SIFAT TANAH DI DUSUN KOPENG, CANGKRINGAN, SLEMAN, YOGYAKARTA

2012 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu TanahPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh pemberian pupuk kandang terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman leguminosa dan perubahan sifat fisika dan kimia tanah pada lahan pasca erupsi gunung Merapi di dusun Kopeng, Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, mempelajari kombinasi perlakuan jenis tanaman leguminosa dan takaran pupuk kandang yang terbaik terhadap perubahan sifat fisika, kimia, dan pertumbuhan tanaman di tersebut. Penelitian lapangan dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2011, analisa tanah dan tanaman dilakukan di Laboratorium Tanah Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Bahan yang digunakan adalah bibit tanaman kara benguk, tanaman Kerandang, tanaman Komak, tanaman Kacang Tanah, tanaman Koro Pedang, pupuk kandang sapi. Percobaan disusun berdasarkan rancangan acak kelompok dengan 2 faktor perlakuan yang terdiri dari 5 jenis tanaman leguminosa dan 2 aras takaran pupuk kandang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa interaksi perlakuan takaran pupuk kandang dan jenis tanaman leguminosa memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap beberapa sifat fisika dan kimia tanah serta pertumbuhan tanaman leguminosa. Jenis tanaman leguminosa berpengaruh nyata terhadap sifat tanah seperti BV tanah, pori pengatusan, pH H2O, KPK tanah, N tersedia tanah, K tersedia tanah. Pemberian pupuk kandang berpengaruh nyata terhadap pH H2O tanah. Perlakuan pemberian pupuk kandang 10 ton/ha dan penggunaan tanaman leguminosa jenis kara benguk memberikan hasil yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman dan serapan unsur hara N, P, K tanaman.
The objective of this research is to study: effect of Leguminoceae variety on physical and chemical soil properties in kopeng land at post eruption terrain of Merapi,effect of manure on physical and chemical soil properties and plant growth to find teh best treatments combination of leguminoceae and manure rate on physical and chemical properties and plant growth. The field research was carried out in May 2011. Analysis of soil and plant was done at Soil Laboratory of Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The materials used in this research were seed of mucuna pruirens DC, canavalia virosa, lablab purpureus, ground peanut, canavalis gladiate (Jacq) DC, and manure. The experiment was arranged in Blok randomized Design consisted of two treatment factors i.e. five kinds of Leguminoceae and two levels of rate of manure. The results of this research showed that treatment interaction of manure rate and Leguminoceae variety not significantly affected on several physical and chemical soil properties and plant growth. Kind of Leguminoceae affected on increasing soil characteristics such as BV, water holding pore, soil pH H2O, soil KPK, available-N, and available-K. The application of manure affected significantly on increasing soil pH H2O. The application of 10 ton/ha manure and mucuna pruirens DC gave the best result on the plant growth and N, P, K up-take.
