Bank Danamon Indonesia,Tbk Cabang Yogyakarta-Diponegoro adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana mekanisme penanganan dan pengelolaan risiko kredit bermasalah secara efektif dan efisien yang dilaksanakan, sehingga potensi terjadinya kredit bermasalah dapat diminimalisir dan kendala apa saja yang dihadapi dalam penanganan dan pengelolaan risiko kredit bermasalah di di Bank Danamon Cabang Yogyakarta-Diponegoro. Jenis penelitian ini adalah yuridis empiris. Data yang digunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara, data sekunder diperoleh melalui penelitian kepustakaan, teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penanganan dan pengelolaan risiko kredit bermasalah yang dilaksanakan di Bank Danamon Cabang Yogyakarta-Diponegoro, khususnya yang dilaksanakan untuk kredit kategori SME-C (Small Medium Entreprise-Commercial), sudah dilaksanakan dengan efektif dan efisien dalam upaya meminimalisir terjadinya kredit bermasalah bahkan kredit macet serta mampu menjaga kualitas perkreditan sehingga rasio angka NPL (Non Performing Loan) jauh dibawah ketentuan Bank Indonesia. Strategi dalam penanganan dan pengelolaan risiko kredit bermasalah di Bank Danamon Cabang Yogyakarta – Diponegoro dengan pencapaian portfolio kredit dengan metode â€spreading risk†dan penerapan â€Early Warning System†dalam faseâ€pre and post booking loanâ€. Penanganan dan pengelolaan risiko kredit bermasalah di Bank Danamon Cabang Yogyakarta-Diponegoro, dihadapkan pada suatu kendala dan hambatan secara eksternal maupun internal. Hal ini menjadi tantangan masa depan bagi Bank Danamon dalam upaya penanganan dan pengelolaan kredit bermasalah agar kualitas perkreditan yang dihasilkan semakin optimal.
The aims of this research on The Risk Handling of Non-Performing Loan at PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk Yogyakarta-Diponegoro branch are to find out how efficient and effective the mechanism of handling and management of non-performing loan is so that the arising potentials of non-performing loan can be minimized and what kind of constraints are faced in handling and managing the risk of non-performing loan at Bank Danamon Yogyakarta-Diponegoro branch. This research is empirically juridical. The data used consist of primary and secondary data. Primary data are obtained from the field research by using the guidelines of interview. Meanwhile, the secondary data are obtained by doing literary research and datum-analysis technique using the qualitative descriptive analysis. The risk handling and management of non-performing loan carried out at Bank Danamon, Yogyakarta-Diponegoro branch, especially the ones carried out for the credit categorized SME-C (Small Medium Enterprise-Commercial), have been carried out effectively and efficiently in order that non-performing loan can be minimized. Even bad credit can also be minimized and credit quality can be maintained so that the ratio of Non-Performing Loan Rate (NPL Rate) is much lower than that of the provisions of Bank Indonesia. The strategies of the risk handling and management of non-performing loan at Bank Danamon, Yogyakarta-Diponegoro branch are by achieving the credit portfolio with the method of “Spreading risk †and applying “Early Warning System†in the phase of “pre and post booking loanâ€. The risk handling and management of nonperforming loan at Bank Danamon Yogyakarta-Diponegoro branch are faced with both the external and internal constraints. This will be the future challenges for Bank Danamon in the efforts of handling and managing non-performing loan in order that the credit quality produced is of optimal level.
