DESAIN DAN IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM PAPERLESS OFFICE PADA PERKANTORAN MODERN

Penggunaan kertas berlebihan berimbas pada biaya operasional dan secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi sistem ekologi. Pemeliharaan kertas juga membutuhkan biaya dan ruang. Disisi lain ada beberapa pemanfaatan kertas yang berlangsung sesaat. Misalnya koran, surat undangan dan selebaran. Kertas tersebut akan dibuang setelah dibaca. Hal tersebut bisa dihindari dengan memanfaat teknologi selain kertas. Teknologi Informasi dalam hal ini menjadi teknologi alternative sebagai pengganti kertas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan Teknologi Informasi sebagai upaya menekan penggunaan kertas. Selain itu juga dilakukan pengembangan algoritma enkripsi metode penggeseran kode ASCII dengan menyisipkan karakter acak. Sistem yang dikembangkan diperuntukkan bagi perkantoran modern yang telah didukung dengan piranti-piranti teknologi informasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah memanfaatkan teknologi intranet dan perangkat lunak terbuka. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan sistem paperless, algoritma enkripsi dan sistem informasi paperless office.

The use of paper excessively affected to the operational cost and indirectly affecting the ecological. The maintenance of the paper also cost money and space. On the other hand there is some exploiting paper which takes place momentarily. For example a newspaper, the letter of invitation and a leaflet. Paper is discarded after the read. This can be done away with the alternative technology in addition to the paper. Information technology in this becomes an alternative technology as a substitute for paper. This research aims at designing a paperless office system. Modification of the encryption algorithm as part of efforts to increase security. Encryption algorithm will detect the record date, shifting the ASCII code and insert random characters. System is used for modern office with the support of information technology. Method used is the intranet technology. Research results in the form of a draft system of paperless information systems and paperless office.
