Dalam tesis ini dibangun beberapa fungsi kontraksi- di ruang modular sebagaimana terjadi di ruang metrik, di antaranya adalah fungsi kontraksi- Ciric, fungsi kontraksi- Meir Keeler, dan fungsi kontraksi- Jachymski. Pembahasan pada tesis ini ditujukan pada penyusunan syarat-syarat cukup yang harus dipenuhi agar suatu fungsi kontraksi- memiliki titik tetap tunggal. Diperoleh bahwa syarat-syarat cukup tersebut adalah memenuhi kondisi dan domain dari fungsi kontraksi- tertutup- dan terbatas- .

In this thesis, some new concepts about -contraction function in modular spaces are constructed. They are the Ciric -contraction function, the Meir Keeler -contraction function, and the Jachymski -contraction function. The aim of the thesis is to determine the sufficient conditions so that -contraction function has a unique fixed point. In fact, a -contraction function has a unique fixed point in the modular space if satisfies the condition and the domain of -contraction function is -closed and -bounded.
