Distribusi panas dalam sebuah bentuk diberikan oleh distribusi suhu didalamnya. Bentuk kernel panas yang diberikan oleh Gauss-Weierstrass diterapkan untuk mendapatkan persamaan panas. Kernel panas ditentukan melalui tranformasi Fourier. Kernel panas tidak hanya bergantung pada syarat awal dan sayarat batas, tetapi juga bergantung pada sistem koordinat. Penyelesaian ditulis dalam bentuk fungsi Bessel dan juga dalam bentuk fungsi Legendre. Swafungsi dan swanilai muncul oleh karena beberapa keadaan. Syarat awal, syarat batas, dan konvolusi diterapkan untuk menentukan penyelesaian persamaan panas. Penyelesaian diterapkan dalam kasus kolom panas atau hot spot

Heat distribution is reflected by the temperature distribution in the body. The form of heat kernel which is determined by Gauss-Weierstrass is is applied to obtain the heat equation. The heat kernel is cosntructed via the Fourier transform at the solution. Heat kernel is not only depended on intial and boundary values, but also on the coordinate systems. The solution is written in term of Bessel functions as well as Legendre functions. Eigenfunctions and eigenvalues are induced by the several conditions. Intial value, boundary conditions, and convolution are applied to determine the heat solution. The solution is applied to the case of hot spot or heat column.
