Evaluasi Penerapan Project Management Pada Proyek pembangunan Web Based Reporting System (WBRS) di PT Mylndo Cyber Media

Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi proyek Web Based Reporting System (WBRS) yang merupakan salah satu proyek strategis yang dimiliki MyIndo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dimana dilakukan pengumpulan data primer dari sumber informasi yang berada di dalam perusahaan. Data-data berupa dokumen-dokumen formulasi strategi project management dan hasil wawancara dengan pihak-pihak yang berkompeten yang ikut merumuskan Project Management Strategy, dalam hal ini adalah Project Manager. Analisis desain Project Management Strategy menggunakan Adaptive Project Management, merupakan kerangka kerja dari Project Management yang memiliki proses terstruktur dan sistematis. Dari analisis implementasi Project Management yang telah dilakukan pada proyek WBRS maka perusahaan dirasa perlu untuk melakukan penyeimbangan antara portofolio jenis proyek dengan risiko. Pada proyek WBRS, risiko-risiko yang berasal dari luar (external risk) lebih besar pengaruhnya dibandingkan risiko-risiko yang sumbernya berasal dari dalam perusahaan sendiri. Perencanaan proyek yang lebih matang perlu dilakukan meskipun keterbatasan waktu memang menjadi kendala utama. Disinilah peran penting dari adaptive learning yang memudahkan perusahaan untuk melakukan pemilihan metode kontrol dan monitoring proyek, termasuk memilih manajemen risiko. Adaptive learning bisa diambil dari hasil evaluasi dari proyek–proyek yang pernah dikelola perusahaan, dimana parameter-parameter evaluasi meliputi cakupan, biaya, waktu, dan kualitas hasil. Dengan mengacu kepada adaptive learning, MyIndo akan menemukan pemodelan strategi yang tepat untuk masing-masing proyek.

The study was conducted to evaluate the Web Based Reporting System (WBRS) project which is one of the strategic projects that MyIndo have. The study used a qualitative approach which made the collection of primary data from information sources within the company. These data form the formulation of strategy documents and project management interviews with the parties are involved to formulate competent Project Management Strategy, in this case is the Project Manager. Project Management Strategy design analysis used the Adaptive Project Management, a framework of Project Management that has a structured and systematic process. From the analysis of the implementation of Project Management done on the WBRS project then the company finds it necessary to perform a balancing between the portfolio with the risk of project types. On the WBRS project, the risks that come from outside (external risk) have greater influence than the risks coming from within the company itself. A more mature project planning needs to be done despite the time constraints as a major obstacle. This is where the important role of adaptive learning that allows the company to perform the selection of methods of control and monitoring of the project, including selecting risk management. Adaptive learning can be drawn from the evaluation of projects that companies never managed, and the evaluation parameters include the scope, cost, time, and quality of results. With reference to the adaptive learning, MyIndo will find the right modeling strategy for each Project.
