Penyusunan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Biaya Operasional Perusahaan Angkutan Truk Kalidjodo

Sebuah perusahaan transportasi logistik seperti angkutan truk, membutuhkan informasi mengenai biaya operasional perusahaan agar dapat mengambil keputusankeputusan yang tepat untuk menghasilkan performa kinerja yang seefisien mungkin. Biaya operasional ini perlu dialokasikan berdasarkan unit-unit kerja dalam perusahaan agar performa kinerja tiap unit dapat dinilai. Penelitian ini menyusun sebuah aplikasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Biaya dengan tujuan membantu sebuah perusahaan angkutan truk berlokasi di Jakarta dalam mendapatkan informasi yang up-to-date, terstruktur dan sistematis mengenai biaya operasional perusahaan yang dapat memberikan arah panduan untuk perbaikan operasional yang perlu dilakukan dalam perusahaan. Aplikasi Sistem Informasi dibuat menggunakan perangkat lunak Microsoft Excel. Aplikasi ini akan memproses data transaksi perusahaan yang berupa Jurnal Umum akuntansi sebagai input. Kemudian melalui proses alokasi biaya berdasarkan metoda Alokasi Biaya Aktivitas (Activity Based Costing), aplikasi ini menghasilkan laporan-laporan Key Performance Indicator (KPI) sebagai output. Laporan-laporan KPI ini akan mengevaluasi kinerja tiap unit dalam organisasi perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi manajemen biaya adalah cara yang efektif untuk perusahaan untuk mengevaluasi unit-unit dalam organisasinya. Menggunakan sistem tersebut, perusahaan dapat memberikan target yang jelas untuk performa kinerja tiap unitnya.

A logistics transportation company such as truck transport needs information about the company’s operational cost so it can make the right decisions to produce the most efficient work performance. The operational cost need to be allocated based on the work units in the company so that each work unit’s performance can be measured. This research develops a Cost Management Information System application with purpose to help a truck trasportation company located in Jakarta in obtaining upto- date, structured and systematical information about the company operational cost that can give direction and guidance for operational improvement that needs to be done within the company. The Information System application is built using Microsoft Excel software. The application will process the company transaction data in the form of accounting General Ledger as its input. Then through cost allocation process bases on Activity Based Costing allocation method, this application will produce the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports as its output. Thus, the KPI reports will evaluate the performance of the units in the company organization. The result shows that a cost management information system is an effective way for a company to evaluate its units within its organization. Using the system, the company can assign a clear target for each unit performance.
