PERILAKU MASYARAKAT DALAM KONSERVASI HUTAN MANGROVE DI KECAMATAN LAKUDO KABUPATEN BUTON PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGGARA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan, melestarikan, serta mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku masyarakat dalam konservasi hutan mangrove di Kecamatan Lakudo. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan rancangan eksplorasi. Informan yang diwawancarai sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan hutan mangrove di Teluk Lasongko telah dimanfaatkan secara fisik, ekonomi, biologi dan , sosial oleh masyarakat setempat. Perilaku konservasi hutan mangrove terbentuk melalui kesadaran masyarakat secara kolektif karena rusaknya mangrove yang pernah terjadi beberapa waktu lalu telah mengurangi sumber daya perikanan yang menjadi kebutuhan dan mata pencaharian keluarga serta berdampak pada kondisi lingkungan sekitar, seperti intrusi air laut yang menyebabkan goa mata air dan air sumur gali terasa asin. Perilaku konservasi mangrove berjalan dengan baik, didukung oleh norma yang disepakati masyarakat, kontrol masyarakat yang ketat, intensifnya difusi pesan konservasi dalam konteks komunikasi sosial, serta adanya dukungan pemerintah daerah, tokoh masyarakat dan LSM Prima yang berperan dalam konservasi hutan mangrove di Kecamatan Lakudo.

This study aims to determine people's behavior in exploiting, conserving, and know the factors that influence people's behavior in the conservation of mangrove forests in the district Lakudo. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach and using a design exploration. Informants who were interviewed as many as 30 people. The results showed that the presence of mangrove forests have been exploited in the Gulf Lasongko physical, economic, and biological, social, local people. Mangrove forest conservation behaviors are formed through the collective consciousness of society because of the destruction of mangroves that had happened some time ago has reduced fisheries resources and the livelihood needs of families and impacts on surrounding environmental conditions, such as sea water intrusion that caused the cave spring water and well water dig taste salty. Mangrove conservation behavior goes well, supported by the agreed norms of society, society of strict control, the intensification of the diffusion of the message of conservation in the context of social communication, as well as the support of local government, community leaders and NGOs which play a role in Prima mangrove forest conservation in the District Lakudo.
