PERBEDAAN GENDER DAN ANTESEDEN – KONSEKUENSI BURNOUT AUDITOR INTERNAL PEMERINTAH

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan bukti empiris mengenai perbedaan gender dalam tingkat stres yang dialami oleh peran auditor internal pemerintah/pemerintah inspektorat serta menguji pengaruh anteseden dan konsekuensi dari burnout. Berdasarkan beberapa penelitian tentang auditor eksternal menunjukkan bahwa tingkat role stress (anteseden) berpengaruh positif terhadap burnout dan burnout berpengaruh negatif terhadap job outcomes (konsekuensi). Dengan menggunakan sampel auditor internal pemerintah/inspektorat pemerintah pada provinsi DIY akan diuji perbedaan gender dalam role stress dan pengaruh anteseden dan konsekuensi terhadap burnout, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasilnya, ada perbedaan jenis kelamin yang berhubungan dengan stres yang dialami peran auditor internal pemerintah/inspektorat pemerintah, role stress tidak berpengaruh pada burnout, dan burnout pada auditor internal pemerintah disebabkan oleh faktor lain dan berpengaruh negatif terhadap job outcomes.

The purpose of this study was to find empirical evidence regarding gender differences in levels of role stress experienced by the internal auditors of the government/the government inspectorates as well as examine the influence of antecedents and consequences of burnout. Based on some research on external auditors indicate that the level of role stress (antecedents) a positive effect on burnout and job burnout negatively affect outcomes (consequences). By using a sample of internal auditors of government / DIY provincial inspectorate to examine gender differences in role stress and the influence of the antecedents and consequences of burnout, the sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The results, is that there are no gender differences related to role stress experienced internal auditors of the government/the government inspectorate, role stress had no effect on burnout, burnout is caused by other factors and negatively affect on job outcomes
