Kisah hidup seseorang baik suka maupun duka dalam proses pencapaian nilai-nilai hidup menjadi pembelajaran bagi orang lain untuk mencapai karya terbaik dalam hidup. Kesuksesan seseorang membutuhkan perjuangan dan proses panjang yang tidak dapat dicapai dengan instant. Mice Misrad mengajak pembaca menertawakan sekaligus berpikir, tanpa menggurui melalui masalah-masalah yang tidak dapat dihindari di kota besar, terutama Jakarta. Kreativitas menyikapi permasalahan sehari–hari pun menjadi ide segar dalam proses penciptaan karya seni seorang Mice Misrad. Andai Aku Jadi Gubernur Jakarta adalah salah satu karya Mice Misrad pada tahun 2011 yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit Nalar menanggapi ulang tahun kota Jakarta. Gubernur Fauzi Bowo, keluhan dan saran masyarakat Jakarta dalam rangka perayaan hari jadi Jakarta ke 484 tahun terdokumentasi dengan baik pada kartun Andai Aku Jadi Gubernur Jakarta. Mice Misrad mencapai keahlian dalam berkarier dengan karya yang objektif, netral, berisi gurauan ringan dan menggunakan bahasa halus sehingga tidak menyinggung siapapun. ABSTRACT One's life story, both joy and sorrow in a journey to achive the meaning of life, can lead someone to reach life's best work. A man's success requires a struggle, a long process, and can't be achived instantly. Mice Misrad engages readers both to laugh and think of, without patronizing for a problems that inevitable in a large city, especially Jakarta. Creativity to figure out the daily problems become fresh ideas in the invention of Mice's artworks. Andai Aku Jadi Gubernur Jakarta one of Mice Misrad's effort in 2011 that published by Nalar, responded Jakarta's anniversary. Fauzi Bowo as Jakarta's Governor, complains and suggestions of the citizen in the 484th anniversary was well documented in the book.
