Dalam tesis ini dikonstruksi fungtor homologi dan kohomologi, juga barisan eksak panjang modul homologi dan kohomologi. Selanjutnya, dari suatu resolusi proyektif dan injektif R-modul dikontruksi fungtor Tor dan Ext, kemudian ditunjukkan sifat fungtor Tor dan EXT membangkitkan barisan eksak pendek R-modul menjadi barisan eksak panjang modul homologi ke-n dan modul kohomologi ke-n.

In this thesis we construct the homology and cohomology functors, also the long exact sequence of homology and cohomology modules. Next, from the projective and injective resolution of an R-module we construct the Tor and Ext functors, then we show the properties of Tor and Ext functors induces a short exact sequence of R-modules be a long exact sequence of the n th homology and cohomology modules.
