2012 | Tesis | S2 Mag.Tekn.InformasiPemerintah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat sampai saat ini belum memiliki infrastruktur jaringan komputer yang menghubungkan komputer antar Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (SKPD), padahal telah terdapat beberapa aplikasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) yang sudah diterapkan di beberapa SKPD. Infrastruktur jaringan komputer merupakan salah satu tahapan dasar untuk mendukung pengembangan e-government, sehingga diperlukan analisis dan desain rencana induk infrastruktur jaringan komputer tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rencana induk infrastruktur jaringan komputer yang terdiri dari topologi, desain fisik serta rencana tahapan penganggaran dari desain yang dihasilkan. Perancangan jaringan menggunakan metode top down network design, melalui tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan dan tujuan, penentuan karakteristik jaringan, desain logika serta desain fisik. Dari desain fisik yang direncanakan dilakukan pengujian menggunakan aplikasi simulasi jaringan Packet Tracer, dan selanjutnya merancang roadmap penganggaran dari desain fisik yang dihasilkan. Topologi jaringan menggunakan topologi jaringan hirarki yang terdiri dari tiga hirarki lapisan jaringan, yaitu jaringan inti, jaringan distribusi dan jaringan akses. Jaringan hirarki memiliki beberapa kuntungan dilihat dari aspek modular, skalabilitas, performa, keamanan, ketersediaan serta sistem redundansinya. Jaringan distribusi dibagi menjadi lima blok yakni blok Sekretariat Daerah, blok Jalan Udayana, blok Jalan Langko, blok Jalan Majapahit serta blok Bappeda. Media transmisi digunakan serat optik untuk menghubungkan jaringan inti Setda ke jaringan distribusi pada pusat blok. Teknologi wireless digunakan untuk menghubungkan jaringan distribusi ke jaringan akses yang jaraknya berjauhan, serta media kabel UTP untuk koneksi jaringan distribusi ke jaringan akses yang jaraknya tidak lebih dari 200 meter. Dengan pertimbangan pembiayaan dalam rencana pengimplementasian, infrastruktur jaringan komputer direncanakan dalam tiga tahap penganggaran dengan presentase sebesar 41% pada tahun pertama, 31% pada tahun kedua serta 28% pada tahun terakhir.
