HUBUNGAN ANTARA TIPE KEPRIBADIAN, AGRESIVITAS DAN KONTROL DIRI PADA PETARUNG PERESEAN

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap aspek-aspek psikologis yang terdapat pada petarung peresean. Aspek-aspek psikologis yang akan diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah kecenderungan tipe kepribadian, agresifitas dan kontrol diri. Selanjtnya untuk memperkaya hasil, penelitian ini juga dimaksudkan menghubungkan antara kecenderungan tipe kepribadian, agresifitas dan kontrol diri. Untuk mengungkap aspek-aspek psikologis pada petarung peresean tersebut di atas, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-korelasional. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan angket berbentuk skala sikap. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang petarung peresean yang sudah menikah, memiliki anak dan sudah memiliki julukan, dan semua subyek tinggal di pulau Lombok NTB. Sedangkan untuk analisis data, penelitian ini memanfaatkan program SPSS 17.00. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan tipe kepribadian yang dimiliki oleh petrang peresean adalah tipe kepribadian ekstraversion. Adapun tingkat agresifitas pada petarung peresean berada pada kategori sedang, hal ini karena sebanyak 60.00 % atau 18 dari 30 subyek memiliki tingkat agresifitas sedang dari mean sebesar 82.60 dan standar deviasi sebesar 21.598. Begitu pula pada tingkat kontrol diri, hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa petarung peresean memiliki kontrol diri sedang, dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis data menunjukkan 80.00 % atau 24 dari 30 subyek memiliki tingkat kontrol diri sedang. Sedangkan analsis korelasi Spearman & Kendall tau_b menghasilkan temuan bahwa hanya agresifitas dan kontrol diri yang berkorelasi dengan derajat korelasi yang rendah, yakni dengan koefesien sebesar 0.377 untuk model Kendall tau_b dan koefesien sebesar 0.472 untuk model Spearman.

This study aimed to uncover the psychological aspects contained in peresean fighter. Psychological aspects will be uncover from this research is personality types, aggressive and self-control. Moreover, to enrich the results, this study also conducted a correlation between personality type, aggressiveness and self-control. To uncover the psychological aspects of the fight peresean mentioned above, this study used a descriptive-quantitative method. The data collection techniques used were the questionnaire shaped the attitude scale. The subjects in this study were 30 people fighters who are married, have children and already has a nickname, and all subjects lived on the island of Lombok NTB. As for data analysis, this study utilizing SPSS 17.00. The results of this study indicate that the personality type of the fighter peresean is ekstraversion personality type. The aggressiveness on peresean fighter is in the middle category, this is because as much as 60.00% or 18 of the 30 subjects had aggressive tendencies are the mean of 82.60 and a standard deviation of 21,598. Similarly, the self-control, the results of this study found that the fighter peresean have self control medium, as evidenced by the results of data analysis showed 80.00% or 24 of the 30 subjects had tendency of self-control is medium. While the correlation analysis Spearman and Kendall tau_b produce findings that only the aggressiveness and self-control are correlated with a low degree of correlation, ie, with coefficient of 0377 for model Kendall tau_b.
