Pelaksanaan fungsi Pemerintah Daerah di Kabupaten Sleman dan Kota Yogyakarta Dalam Memberikan Pelayanan Publik Guna Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan, pelayanan yang diberikan oleh Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan kabupaten Sleman dapat berjalan dengan lancar tidak terjadi pemborosan waktu dan proses pemberian pelayanan sesuai prosedur dan tidak ada perbedaan. Sedangkan di Kota Yogyakarta dengan diberlakukan Peraturan Walikota Nomor 236/Kep/2007 tentang Kuota Peserta Didik Baru Masuk SMP dan SMA Negeri Di Kota Yogyakarta, memberikan kesempatan seluas-luasnya kepada penduduk Kota Yogyakarta dalam mengenyam pendidikan di Kota Yogyakarta. Adapun Kendala yang dihadapi Pemerintah Daerah di Kabupaten Sleman dan Kota Yogyakarta Dalam Memberikan Pelayanan Publik Guna Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan, yaitu faktor-faktor eksternal seperti : hukum, adat-budaya, politik, sosial, dan ekonomi dan faktor internal seperti : doktrin, kepemimpinan, lembaga, sumberdaya, dan struktur organisasi, secara bersama-sama menjadi hambatan bagi upaya peningkatan derajat responsitas pemerintahan Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan terhadap pelayanan publik guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Sleman berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk merespon dan menanggapi keluhan dari pengguna jasa serta berusaha untuk merealisasikan apa yang telah disampaikan masyarakat tersebut, yaitu penetapan kuota peserta didik berdasarkan Peraturan Walikota Yogyakarta Nomor 236/Kep/2007 bahwa setiap tahun ajaran baru peraturan tersebut diperbarui, namun tidak mengubah isi dari ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan. Hanya pada tahun 2009, ditetapkan pula kuota untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dan kuota bagi peserta didik penduduk pemegang Kartu Menuju Sejahtera. Sehingga kesuksesan dari Pemerintahan Kabupaten Sleman dan Kota Yogyakarta dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada publik di bidang pendidikan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan benar

So the success of the District Sleman and the city of yogyakarta Government in providing services to the public in education can be done:properly-correctly.
