ROBUST AUDIO TOOL MENDUKUNG LEBIH DARI SATU GRUP KONFERENSI AUDIO DALAM SEBUAH JARINGAN DENGAN KONTROL TERPUSAT

Laporan tesis ini menjelaskan modifikasi software Robust Audio Tool (RAT) menjadi mendukung penggunanya melakukan konferensi audio pada satu jaringan multicast lebih dari satu grup dengan kontrol terpusat, yang aslinya tidak bisa. RAT adalah software aplikasi audio yang menggunakan RTP di atas UDP/IP sebagai protokol transport, yang sudah cukup teruji kehandalannya. RAT modifikasi ini nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai core untuk mengembangkan software laboratorium bahasa yang mempunyai fitur All calls, Group calls, Pairing, Group of four, Monitor and intercom. Modifikasi dilakukan pada sisi penerima dengan menambahkan fungsi filtering. Hanya paket paket data yang diinginkan saja yang akan di proses sampai akhir. Cara pemfilterannya yaitu dengan membandingkan IP paket yang di terima dengan IP yang ada di file tabel IP pada setiap komputer. Isi file tabel IP dapat di perbaharui oleh salah satu komputer yang berfungsi sebagai master ( pengontrol terpusat ). Berdasar hasil pengujian RAT modifikasi cukup layak digunakan sebagai core pengembangan sebuah software labortorium bahasa dengan catatan delay end to end masih besar .

This thesis describes the modification of Robust Audio Tool (RAT) software to support users to audio conferencing on a network of more than one multicast group with centralized control, which it couldn't originally. RAT is a audio application software that uses RTP over UDP / IP as the transport protocol, which is enough proven reliability. These modifications of RAT can then be used as the core for developing a language laboratory software which has a feature such as All calls, group calls, Pairing, Group of four, monitoring as well as intercom. Modifications performed on the receiving end by adding a filtering function. Only the desired data packets that will be processed to end. The filtering process accomplished by comparing the received IP packets with IP in IP table file on each computer. The contents of IP table file can be updated by one of the computer that serves as the master (centralized control). Based on the results of the modified RAT used as a software development language with records labortorium end to end delay is still large.
