MOTIVASI KERJA TENAGA HARIAN LEPAS TENAGA BANTU PENYULUH PERTANIAN DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK TIMUR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) motivasi kerja Tenaga Harian Lepas Tenaga Bantu Penyuluh Pertanian (THL-TBPP) di Kabupaten Lombok Timur, (2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi kerja THL-TBPP di Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Jumlah responden sebanyak 88 THL-TBPP yang diambil secara sensus. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: uji proporsi dan analisis regresi berganda. Motivasi kerja Tenaga Harian Lepas Tenaga Bantu Penyuluh Pertanian (THL- TBPP) diukur berdasarkan tiga indikator, yaitu motivasi existence, relatedness dan growth. Faktor-faktor yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja Tenaga Harian Lepas Tenaga Bantu Penyuluh Pertanian adalah Umur, Pendidikan, Lama Tugas, Persepsi THL-TBPP terhadap program penyuluhan, kemampuan THL-TBPP, pelatihan THL-TBPP dan peranan pemimpin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar THL-TBPP memiliki motivasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan eksistensi yang tinggi. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap motivasi kerja THL- TBPP di Kabupaten Lombok Timur adalah : lama tugas dan pelatihan THL-TBPP. Sedangkan faktor-faktor lain tidak berpengaruh nyata.

The research which was done, aimed to find out : (1) the agricultural extension agency (THL-TBPP) work motivation in East Lombok Regency, (2) the factors that affected agricultural extension agency (THL-TBPP) work motivation. The research was conducted in East Lombok Regency with 88 respondents (census method). The data analyzed namely the analysis of descriptive, proportion test and multiple linear regression. The agricultural extension agency (THL-TBPP) work motivation was measured by three indicator, motivation of existence, motivation of relatedness and motivation of growth. The factors which were predicated as influencing factors to the work motivation were ages, educational level, work experience, extension perception, ability, work training and role of government. Based on data analysis, the most of the THL-TBPP has existence was a high motivation of work. The factors that significantly influenced the work motivation of THL-TBPP in East Lombok mostly work experience and work training, while the other factors non significantly influenced.
