The research on the Opportunity of Cyber Notary in the making of deeds viewed from legality aspect and title profesionalism is a research aiming at finding whether electronic notary practice has met legal aspects, that is regulation in Act on Electronic Information and Transaction and Act on Public Notary’s Title, as well as other relevant laws and regulations. Furthermore, it is also to find out how the existence of notary’s title in the future. This research uses analytical-descriptive and comparative-juridical method, by investigating secondary data, those are; laws and regulations, research result, law journal, law information as well as books related to the problem investigated. To support secondary data, it will use sampling technique to get some opinion and information from the respondents. The analysis result of this research states that the opportunity of cyber notary is open due to the support of ITE Act itself and Minister of Communication and Information’s Regulation. However, the presence of Act on Public Notary’s Title has not been harmonized with its implementation, so the practice of cyber notary cannot be implemented in Indonesia. The use of cyber notary is related to security system toward authentic deed it makes. Certification Authority (CA) has guaranted the authenticity of electronic record that relates to identity, signature, and transaction date. Department of Communication and Information has issued Act on Supervisory of CA Institution to supervise the standard of CA usage listed in Indonesia. The opportunity of cyber notary in Indonesia is high if notary serves as Sub Certification Authority who places notary as the party who witnesses record transaction (when the message is delivered and received).
