2012 | Tesis | S2 Magister ManajemenBalanced Scorecard merupakan sistem manajemen untuk menilai kinerja perusahaan secara seimbang antara ukuran keuangan dan non keuangan, jangka panjang dan jangka pendek, eksternal dan internal, serta faktor tujuan dan pendorong hasil yang berguna mencapai visi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas strategi bersaing yang dilakukan oleh unit Office of Chief Economist dalam menghadapi persaingan di industri perbankan melalui pendekatan Balanced Scorecard. Obyek penelitian adalah PT. Bank Mandiri pada unit Office of Chief Economist dengan menggunakan data internal unit Office of Chief Economist dalam bentuk Key Performance Indicator (KPI) periode 2010. Evaluasi strategi bersaing melalui pendekatan Balanced Scorecard berdasarkan atas empat perspektif antara lain : (1). Perspektif Keuangan, (2). Perspektif Pelanggan, (3). Perspektif Proses Bisnis Internal, (4). Perspektif Pembelajaran dan Pertumbuhan. Keempat perspektif ini menghasilkan usulan target serta inisiatif strategi pada setiap sasaran strategik dan indikator kinerja yang diamati bagi semua komponen atau tingkatan dalam perusahaan. Dari hasil evaluasi dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa masing-masing perspektif mencapai target yang telah ditetapkan. Pencapaian target tersebut didukung oleh penentuan strategi yang tepat yaitu strategi berbasis kecepatan, strategi outsourcing dan strategi aliansi. Strategi-strategi tersebut telah digunakan efektif dan tepat dalam menghadapi persaingan di industri perbankan ditinjau melalui pendekatan Balanced Scorecard.
Balanced Scorecard is a management system to assess corporate performance in balance between financial and non financial measures, long-term and short-term, external and internal, as well as the factors driving the goals and results that are useful to achieve the vision of the company. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of competing strategies undertaken by units of the Office of Chief Economist in the face of competition in the banking industry through the Balanced Scorecard approach. Object of the research is PT. Bank Mandiri in units of the Office of the Chief Economist with the use of internal data unit of the Office of Chief Economist in the form of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) in the period of 2010. Evaluation of competitive strategy through the Balanced Scorecard approach based on four perspectives are:(1). Financial Perspective, (2). Customers Perspective, (3). Internal Business Process Perspective, (4). Learning and Growth Perspective. The four perspective target generates proposals and strategic initiatives at each of the strategic objectives and performance indicators were observed for all components or tiers within the company. From the evaluation results can be concluded that each perspective to achieve the set target. Achievement of these targets is supported by the determination of appropriate strategies that speed-based strategy, outsourcing strategy and alliance strategy. These strategies have been use deffectively and appropriately in the face of competition in the banking industry is reviewed through the Balanced Scorecard approach.
