ANALISIS STRATEGY WHOLESALE TRANSACTION BANK SEBAGAI CORPORATE STRATEGY PT BANK MANDIRI (Persero) Tbk 2010 - 2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Corporate Strategy Bank Mandiri. Analisa didalam thesis ini hanya menjelaskan dan mengevaluasi salah satu dari 3 (tiga) corporate strategy Bank Mandiri. Adapun 3 corporate strategy Bank Mandiri adalah : Strategy Wholesale Transaction Bank, Retail Payment dan retail Finance. Pembahasan didalam thesis ini, hanya khusus focus pada Strategy Wholesale Transaction Bank, analisa kinerja secara umum Bank Mandiri, produkproduk khusus transaction di Bank Mandiri, pendapatan fee base dari produk transactional, benchmark produk transactional di perbankan, analisa SWOT, identifikasi key success factor, persaingan industry dan analisa internal kinerja Bank Mandiri. Strategy Wholesale Transaction Bank merupakan strategy yang masih efektif sebagai salah satu untuk menaikkan revenue Bank Mandiri, karena beberapa factor serta variable yang men-generate revenue semakin kecil untuk produk kredit khususnya segmen corporate dan large commercial. Analisa faktor-faktor yang paling mempengaruhi Strategy Wholesale Transactional Bank di sektor perbankan antara lain dengan masuknya beberapa bank asing, dimana bank-bank tersebut mengedepankan teknologi didalam memasarkan produk-produknya. Adapun produk yang ditawarkan lebih banyak focus kepada fee base income. Dari analisa kinerja Bank Mandiri diketahui bahwa beberapa aspek keuangan Bank Mandiri mulai menunjukkan penuruan, yaitu adanya xii penurunan Net Interest Margin. Hal ini disebabkan karena beberapa perusahaan besar (large corporate) tidak mempergunakan fasilitas pinjamannya, mereka lebih memilih mendapatkan pinjaman dari capital market yang cukup baik dan berkembang di Indonesia, karena tingkat suku bunga yang ditawarkan lebih kompetitive. Dengan strength dan opportunities yang cukup besar, strategy wholesale transactional bank tersebut dapat menjadi strategy yang sangat baik untuk dapat meningkatkan revenue Bank Mandiri. Selain itu, perbankan lokal di Indonesia masih belum fokus didalam melakukan hal tersebut.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Bank Mandiri's Corporate Strategy. The analysis in this thesis describes and evaluates only one of three (3) of Bank Mandiri corporate strategy. 3 The Bank Mandiri corporate strategy are: Bank Transaction Strategy Wholesale, Retail Payments and Retail Finance. The discussion in this thesis, only a special focus on Strategy Wholesale Transaction Bank, the general performance analysis of Bank Mandiri, specialty products transactions in Bank Mandiri, fee income base of transactional products, benchmark product with otker bank, SWOT analysis, identification of key success factors , industry competition and the internal analysis of the performance of Bank Mandiri Wholesale Transaction Strategy Bank is still an effective strategy as one way of increasing revenue of Bank Mandiri, because of several factors and variables generate less revenue for credit products, especially large corporate and commercial segments. Analysis of the factors that most influence the Wholesale Strategy Transactional Bank in the banking sector, among others, with the entry of several foreign banks, where banks are promoting the technology in its products to the market. From the analysis of the performance of Bank Mandiri is known that some aspects of Bank Mandiri finances began to show deterioration, ie a decrease in Net Interest Margin. This is because some big companies (large corporate) did not use the loan facility, they prefer to get loans from the capital market which is quite good and growing in Indonesia, compare with the interest rate offered is more competitive than loan facility. With the strength and the opportunities are xiv quite large, transactional bank's wholesale strategy can be an excellent strategy for increasing revenue of Bank Mandiri.
