MODEL PERSAMAAN STRUKTURAL DENGAN ESTIMASI MODEL KUADRAT TERKECIL TERTIMBANG

Metode dan teknik statistika biasa tidak dapat mengakomodasi keberadaan variabel laten dalam model yang sering muncul dalam penelitian di bidang sosial, ekonomi, psikologi. Teknik pemodelan variabel laten dapat menggunakan analisis model persamaan structural. Pada penelitian ini dopelajari prosedur dan teknik analisis suatu model persamaan struktural bentuk rekursif, dengan cara pemodelan dalam diagram jalur, identifikasi model, penentuan fungsi kecocokan, prosedur estimasi dan evaluasi model. Model yang diusulkan dalam studi kasus ini adalah pengaruh antara interaksi teman sebaya dan interaksi siswa–guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa MTs Negeri Jatimulyo Kulon Progo Yogyakarta, diperoleh hasil bahwa model analisis strukturalnya didukung oleh data. Di mana interaksi teman sebaya mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai satatistik 2,39 di atas nilai kritis 1,96. Interaksi siswa–guru mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa dengan statistik 5,66 di atas nilai kritis 1,96.

The usual statistical methods and techniques can’t accommodate the presence of latent variables which often occur in the model of social, economic and psychologies’ research. Stuctural Equation Modelling Analysis is one of latent variable modelling techniques. This research studies recursive structural equation modelling with path analysis, identification model, determination of suitability functions, estimation procedure and evaluation model. The model proposed in this case study is the influence of peer interaction and student-teacher interaction in MTs N Jatimulyo, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The result is structural analysis model supported by data. In this case the peer interaction influences the student studying motivation with the statistic value 2,39; with the critical value 1,96. Student – teacher interaction influences the student studying motivation with the statistic value 5,66; with the critical value 1,96.
