MOTIVASI PETUGAS PROMOSI KESEHATAN PUSKESMAS DALAM MELAKSANAKAN PROGRAM PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT DI SEKOLAH DASAR DI KABUPATEN KUNINGAN

Latar belakang : Penyakit yang sering menyerang anak usia sekolah umumnya berkaitan dengan PHBS. Untuk mengatasinya, Departemen Kesehatan telah menetapkan grand strategy, salah satunya adalah sasaran sekolah dasar (SD) yang berPHBS. Pelaksanaan program PHBS di SD tidak terlepas dari pengaruh motivasi petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas sebagai pelaksana program PHBS di puskesmas. Motivasi tersebut kemungkinan terkait dengan pengetahuan, reward, pembinaan dan pengarahan, ketertarikan terhadap pekerjaan, pemahaman tupoksi dan karakteristik umur, pendidikan lama kerja dan beban kerja. Tujuan: Mengkaji motivasi petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas dalam melaksanakan program PHBS di SD di Kabupaten Kuningan dan berbagai faktor yang berhubungan dengan motivasi. Metode: Rancangan penelitian cross sectional dengan mix methods explanatory. Lokasi penelitian di 37 puskesmas Kabupaten Kuningan. Subjek penelitian adalah petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas sebanyak 37 orang (total populasi), teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner, panduan wawancara mendalam dan cek dokumen dan ke guru UKS. Analisis data bivariabel dengan uji chi-square, analisis data kualitatif dilakukan mulai dari transkrip, pengkategorian, interpretasi dan disajikan dalam bentuk narasi. Hasil Penelitian: Umur, tingkat pendidikan, lama bekerja, pengetahuan, reward, ketertarikan terhadap pekerjaan pemahaman terhadap tupoksi dan beban kerja mempunyai hubungan signifikan dengan motivasi (p < 0,05). Pembinaan dan pengarahan tidak mempunyai hubungan signifikan dengan motivasi (p > 0,05). Kesimpulan: Faktor yang mempunyai hubungan dengan motivasi adalah umur, tingkat pendidikan, lama kerja, beban kerja, pengetahuan, reward, ketertarikan terhadap pekerjaan dan pemahaman terhadap tupoksi.

Background: The disease that often affects school age children is generally associated with the PHBS. To overcome this, the Ministry of Health has set a grand strategy, one of which is the target of primary schools (SDs) that have PHBS. Implementation of PHBS program in primary schools is inseparable from the influence of the officer's motivation as a health promoter at health centers that implement PHBS program. The motivation is probably related to knowledge, rewards, coaching and guidance, interest in the work, understanding in tupoksi (main task and function) and characteristics of age, education, length of service and workload. Objective: Assess the motivation of health promotion staff at public health center in conducting healthy style programs at elementary schools in Kuningan District and various factors releted to motivation. Methods: Cross-sectional study design with a mixed methods explanatory. Research sites were in 37 health centers of Kuningan District. Research subjects were the health centers’ promotion officers as many as 37 people (total population). Techniques of data collection were done by questionnaires, in-depth interviews and document checks and information from UKS (school health unit) teachers. The data analysis was performed by bivariate analysis with chi-square test and qualitative data analysis was carried out by several stages, ie transcripts, categorizing, interpretation and presentation in narrative form. Results: Age had a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0,003); level of education had a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0.031); length of service had a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0.007); workload had a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0.028); knowledge had a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0.033); rewards had a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0.045), interest in the job had a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0.031); and understanding of tupoksi had a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0.013). Guidance and coaching did not have a significant relationship with motivation (p = 0.8). Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between knowledge, rewards, interest in the work, understanding of tupoksi, age, education level, length of service and the workload and motivation. Guidance and coaching did not have a significant relationship with motivation.
